Automated feeding system for coco 250 plants

Not a bad idea.

@Dank bnk

Another possibility would be switching from your idea of using coco and running a recirculating NFT setup for each tray or even ebb and flow would work better than trying to get a system balanced enough to deliver drips/floods evenly to a whole lot of plants.

Are those trays 8x4?

Considered setting a drip system for each of the trays?

house a reservoir underneath each that are all interconnected so you only ever have to fill one res and it fills all the others?

then have runoff collection going to its exit?

You may get some good ideas watching some PA HYDROPONICS on YouTube.

If this was me, I would setup each tray individually with its own res and pumps etc maybe like I mentioned with the interconnected reservoirs?
I wouldn't use NFT. But I agree a recirculating system is wise.

With canna they don't recommend it I feel it though

many I hand water just convinced automated system is the way I'm getting to old for this hand watering lol:weed:
We get a lot of kids on their first grows dreaming big, thanks for not taking offense. The only advice I have is look at recirculating at your scale. I'd also use several reservoirs not one large one same with pumps etc... Good luck. I look forward to hearing how you do.

The challenge my Friend I need it l been doing this to long and by hand I know it's possible I might just do 3 pumps if need be

Then the best way for you is to treat each tray as it’s own drip system.

how many 3G fabric pots per tray are you thinking? 18? 24?

what amount of veg are these getting prior to flowering? Straight from rooted clone? 2-4 weeks?

Are you planning on training them? Could be wise to be ready with a net or other way to stop colas falling over etc.

Yes 2 weeks veg 24 a Tray 4x8 two lights a tray and using trellis putting pvc pipes up now

Then go for a tray by tray setup IMO.

keeping each tray independent and allowing an out flow for runoff.

24 plants is a lot easier to setup an irrigation system for than a full 240 off 1 massive system.

each tray could then have a 50-100g reservoir under the tray or at the side, each tray can use a 2000GPH submersible pump, create a delivery ring and branch off to each plant from the delivery ring or alternative use a manifold/manifolds to deliver to each plant.

First for the watering look at dab box it’s great for drip systems ensuring constant even pressure across the board. The mini will do close to 900 sites I believe. Second how are you controlling everything in that room? What’s controlling the lights, dehumidifiers and co2? Next get that wood out of there. Open wood isn’t something you want in a grow it harbors bugs and pathogens. Get either some fast fit tables and that that wood out.

A few plants drained the shit out of my house and garden coco , I’d imagine 250 plants would be insane amount of nutes
