No, I'm not. The victims here were there for a family outing, they weren't active participants in a violent riot and trying to assault a minor with a gun. If you want to play stupid games to win stupid prizes, don't go squealing like a little bitch when someone caps your pedo ass.

The reason your logic fails: Even if I did jump to a conclusion about Rittenhouse, which I did not, it doesn't make it right to do so now.

Seems the courts nowadays think that the last man standing is innocent because self defense (if he's white, so that probably wouldn't work for Douglas). It could be he drove into that crowd in self defense, I don't know. Maybe if a gun is used then it's self defense but not a car? It's all very confusing. I think I'll have to wait for the jury trial.

In Florida, a gathering of three or more people can be labeled a “riot”—and if they’re blocking the road and you feel frightened, it’s generally OK to run them over with a car. Historic monuments, however—Confederate and otherwise—receive special protection under the law.
These are just some of the stipulations created by Florida’s new controversial anti-protest bill, which Gov. Ron DeSantis, flanked by law enforcement officers at the Polk County Sheriff's Office, signed into law.


“It’s the strongest anti-rioting pro-law enforcement piece of legislation in the country. There’s nothing even close,” DeSantis said at a press conference. “We’re not going to end up like Portland.”
The “Combatting Public Disorder Bill,” or HB1, is the latest attempt to crack down on First Amendment activity in the wake of the nationwide protest movement that was triggered by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Florida’s bill, as with those introduced in 45 states this year, has been widely criticized by civil liberties groups who fear that the law will be used disproportionately to criminalize Black-led protests against police brutality and racial injustice.

I have mixed feelings about protesters blocking roads. I have nothing against protesting, it's our constitutional right, but blocking roads isn't a good idea it could potentially create a very very dangerous situation.

Suppose there's a HAZMAT vehicle, a fuel tanker is in the crowd of cars and someone decides to light it on fire or hijack it, that would be catastrophic. Maybe there's a truck hauling magnesium powder flakes and someone decides to light it on fire in a crowd of cars, do you know how hard it is to put out a magnesium fire?


I'm absolutely not saying that it's ok to run someone over though
 
Clearly there should be some sort of psychiatric evaluation before you just let some motherfucker post bail.

Maybe, just maybe, the main reason for their crime(s) is psychological in nature, therefore it'd be DANGEROUS to just let criminals post bail without evaluation?

You're trying to lionize a murderer, because the people he murdered weren't good people? Do you think he's Dexter? Kyle Rittenhouse is a murderer, no matter what the trial under an alzheimer's afflicted judge decided. He had absolutely no idea who the people he murdered were, and he didn't care. In no way is Rittenhouse anything more than a murderer who got off.
