If you get an auto you can have finished bud in 75 days and you don't have to switch the lights.... And yes, that is from seed... But keep in mind, that is for a strain that is made to be that way... Hence the auto, for automatic flowering

im doing 12/12 from seed right now...im about 2 weeks into the grow...everything seems to be going ok...they've just started to develop an odor lol but i have to get my nose really close to the leaves. i dont think it will be too long before they will show sex and start growing buds...u can check out my grow as it progresses if u want...to give u an idea of how a 12/12 from seed will pan out...

I vegged for two weeks, then switched to 12/12 just because it will take the same amount of time to show sex and your plants will be a little bigger. 12/12 from seed will cause your plant to grow basically one big cola about 1ft-2ft tall. Your looking at a total of atleast 80days to veg/flower 12/12 from seed.

they still go thru a veg stage even on 12/12
I've done it several times. Not a bad way to quickly judge a strain's quality/potency. I've never noticed a difference in potency, just yield. Some strains respond better than others and will grow large this way, especially the pure sativa types that get really big if you veg too long.
Keep in mind that the plant still has to develop before it can flower so a 60 day strain will still take 80 days. I would not do it if you want quantity and don't know how your particular strain will react.

my plants are (so far) responding really well...they've had ZERO veg time...and they look good...i chose to do this because im only growing for personal use...and dont need huge yields...just enough to go from harvest to harvest...and it also allows me to try a bunch of different strains. once i have a few favourite strains i plan to do a full grow with a lot of veg time...but for now until i get a couple grows under my belt this works for me. i like that the plants wont get super big...so it will be easy for me to maintain them and learn the basics of growing.

I wanna see how they grow because theres this dude i know and i asked him to teach me, and I told him i was doing 12/12 the whole grow and he got mad at me and told me it wouldnt work(He thinks I know nothing about veg time and all tht).
I told him I understand everything he was telling me but ended up telling me he wont teach me anything anymore. His rebutal about my grow and my experimentation "I've been growing plants every 3-4 months for 8 years, but I dont know anything" It's hard to argue against that. but yea any pics...anyone of a 12/12 grow?

im gonna try and load some new pics of my grow tomorrow...but i have a few in my journal, u might have to go back a couple of pages tho. but they've been in soil for about 5 weeks now...and they're doing great...i have 5 girls...and they're starting to form a bunch of bud sites...i know my yield isnt gonna be spectacular or anything...but its definitely gonna work

Ive done 12/12 from seed a couple of times , the thing is it took my plants anywhere from 35-42 days to show sex since it takes that long to get mature enough to sex, my point is you may as well veg. for at least 5 weeks because the plant wont be mature enough until then anyways.Im not saying it cant be done quicker but these were my results.

wow...35-42 days to show sex?! mine showed in about 20 days...or approx 3 weeks. were u growing sativas?
