Now that I have my own private grow space I'm setting up I have big plans. If I can make autos work for me, I will probably grow autos exclusively. Other than I really want to grow a scrog in my 2x4 tent. I have some photo seeds I want to grow in the 2x4 as a scrog. I could grow them in my 4x4 as a scrog but I think a 2x4 is easier to access the base of the plants for maintenance on the scrog and feeding.,.

Oh you feel insulted about somebody else is saying true to somebody else? Growing weed in its vegetative phase is the most easiest thing on whole growing. If your are not able to handle this couple weeks of fun, how do you want to get through 12 weeks of real flowering??? He wants longer veg (due obvious lack of experiences) and choose to grow autos, thats stupid. And I tell you why… coz those suckers including you did poor research on how to properly treat the plants, rather were watching YouTube bullshit and when it comes to their own grow they are fucked up with stunned plant look like shit starting to flower. Then they come here asking for help and when somebody tell them true, they feel insulted refusing to admit they made an error.

Learn how to veg plants, this is your answer. Once it has been done, you will have completely opposite issue. But most likely if you reach that point, by that time you have already gave up on autos. Sorry for being rude in your thread but this is my point of view, you can pretty easy ignore it. Good luck!
The whole point of an auto is to just let it do its own thing. If you want to control veg and flower times then grow photoperiod plants. If you are looking to extend the veg time of an autoflower, you are going about it the wrong way. You need to look for auto genetics that have a naturally longer on average veg time. Look for autos like Dutch Passion, or XL autos... These auto strains usually take longer to finish... 12 weeks or more as advertised.
Uh, that's why OP is here asking questions, so they can learn. If every time you ask anyone a question you are told "just learn how to do it," when someone could actually help, how will you feel about that?? Would that give you warm fuzzies every time you heard the door slammed in your face?
