I really like the idea of manifolding too i didnt think it would do well with gelat.og though. Im gonna try it next with bruce banger and zkittles.

Don't manifold Gelato it takes lightyears to recover usually.
I already defoliated a little. But now am having hand size leaves again and trying to tuck them in and leave rhe side ones but theyre blocking tops and air flow everywhere and its hard to foliar feed underneath and water. I hate cutting leaves off.

I used to hate cutting leaves off until I found the right genetics. Creamsicle from idk where and Gorilla Breath from idk where as well both get stripped of all fan leaves day 1 (flip) and day 20 of bloom and only skip a beat for a couple days while they adjust their drinking again. I always give them a nice fresh feed the day before I pluck. Look into Shwazzing it's a dumb name but the method works. By the end of bloom all the little leaves will be medium/large.

Gorilla Breath that was topped, lollipopped & defoliated on day 1 of bloom and day 20 of bloom..

I did a feed this morning with an xtra tsp of hh and foliar fed bk at 1/4 strength and so far so good. Im gonna do a slurry tommorow see whete im at. Its an og ghoofully it does ok with it i wanna use it but will ease into it. Right now i feel like the plants are too compact and kinda want them to stretch a little becauseits hard to do any lst. Too many big leaves on such a short plant. I might untie them and let em stretch then tie em back down. I think thats what i did last time. Maybe its too much light too soon im up to 300w led 400w hid so 700w.Too much right now? Not sure. I want 1 plant to fill the tent and the othe next to it grown to about the same size outside the tent. I have a ts 1000 i can throw in there too. That would be 900w. For 2 plants should turn out nice its just hard training with all the ties and trying to water around them. I was thinking about a scrog. Im in week 2 of veg
If you want them to stretch you root drench with BK … foliar will keep them compact … so what I use to do is when in flower start of transition I’ll foliage spray bk to keep the stretch down …. And I spray once or twice a week till I see the pom poms … and stop the foliage spray .

What is BK?

I did a slurry test. Ph was 6.5 but ppm's are high around 800 but i did feed yesterday though
Now keep measuring it each day to map your plants trends, and when it goes way out of balance and the plant is showing you signs of stress you can go to your data and look at any similar trends.

Every grower should keep a plant log, where you notated Daly weekly tasks( I use my journals) to give you an even better understanding of what's happening ing in your media and to your plant.

I also record and measure all my feed solutions daily, especially when I'm using a stock tank mix and so on. Data is your friend it's not a replacement for wisdom or experience but more often then not plant problems work themselves out and the trends illuminate these cycles.

Thanks guys. Ya i've been doing the alternating day foliar feed thats in the Nftg grow bible and been slowly amping up the BK and the response is immediately good. I agree, i log everything everyday down to the temp and rh%. I never did slurry tests before now but ill be doing them and logging them every week. It gives you complete control over the plant and i see how much i can learn from them. Im new to nftg but i definitely recommend doing slurry tests with your grow if you want to learn about what does what.

How anal do you want to be with slurries ? I use to do a slurry before every feed so I know how much or little they need … you know you don’t have to follow the feed feed tea / feed feed herc … that depends on your slurry …. So if I was sitting at 800 ppm that after the soil has dried out some and not take a slurry day after feed cause that my skew the true #s … ( but in your cause that was a good # to bk) …. To get a true slurry should be where soil is not wet but not dry on a root drench day …. So let’s say your root drench day ppm are 600 ppm and ph is 6.6 .. but its another feed day as per the feed feed tea or feed feed herc …. Then I would do a tea day ..or maybe a herc , and that will depend when the last tea or herc was done….so yes keeping notes is key … it’s what I call preventative slurry , your catching it before your ph goes out of zone …… high ppms will lower your ph , low ppms will raise ph …….also you should know what your slurry of your soil before using it….. #4 soil usually around 300 ppm with ph of 6.2 …. Working with amended soil your ppm can be as high as 2000 but the ph in range , if ph is in the range then ppm don’t matter to much cause when root drench it’s a herc and tea only till the ppm down between 300-500 range and that’s most of the veg with out using much bottles….. being using nectar sense 2014 ….

Thank you. Very helpful. So taking in what you've just said ill do my slurrys before i put anything in my soil around the night before watering when soils almost but not dry. That will give me a very good idea if i need to feed, light feed, use a tea, or if i need to any kind of "Flush". Also i understand the fluctuations of ph and ppm how ppm goes down ph goes up and vise versa. I really wanted to use the #4 soil but the guy at the shop said he uses nectar and by time it gets to us the ph is like 8.5. So i took his advice and am using coco loco. My other plant im using ocean forest with my left over fox farm nutes. Didnt wanna waste em but ive been ising nectar to foliar feed it besides bloom khaos.

So im using the entire line. All the bottles except hades down ive been using ph down is hades worth the buy or the same? Also i use slf 100 with every feed. I dont have any teas so on tea day ive been making the i nstant nectar tea from the nftg bible using bottles in the line and photo +. Is this good or can i do better. I wanna do something else to waste money. better my grow. My lights are cool for now, my rh% is good, temps good, what else can i do.? I have 100 to spend. Was thinking of getting a little seedling/clone/veg/autoflower tent for my mars hydro ts1000. I wanna start playing around with different things to stay busy while im inside 24/7 now.

That’s odd that be 8.5 ph ….. I just open a bag of #4 soil that sat in my storage for 2 yrs and the numbers where good…. Gotta be careful with these shops , there gonna sell you on product that they can make the most profits on …. Not saying this shop does , but you can make it work with any soil…. Like fox farm has a ph around 5.8 -5.9 with high ppms … you can do a true flush of just water till the ppms and ph comes in line of using nectar … if the soil of the #4 is 8.5 then maybe email the beard about it and let him know….

Hades down is a judgment call….. I use it and qt last me 2 years … if your having success using the ph down you have now keep using it….. I would keep doing what your doing now till u get more experience of using what your using and dail in on what your growing … your seedling / clone / veg / auto flower tent is a good idea ….. oh and add Bigfoot to your must have If you didn’t already …

Why would someone being trying to run "The Whole Line" their first time around?
I am currently on the opposite end of the spectrum. I get the concepts and have ran all sorts of nutrients and systems over the years but am trying to see just how minimalist one can be and have success with Nectar.
So far in veg it is pretty much #4 soil and OneShot with flower being a semi stripped down Spartan regimen. Maybe I'll call it the Peasant Schedule
