Why would someone being trying to run "The Whole Line" their first time around?
I am currently on the opposite end of the spectrum. I get the concepts and have ran all sorts of nutrients and systems over the years but am trying to see just how minimalist one can be and have success with Nectar.
So far in veg it is pretty much #4 soil and OneShot with flower being a semi stripped down Spartan regimen. Maybe I'll call it the Peasant Schedule
but it’s so fun playing with the line….. with in reasons….. not like on FB forum … most admins are a joke…

I really am being way to american about it i agree. I guess call it ocd that i felt the need to get evrything and all the same brand.my thinking is give them the broadest spectrum of nutrients possible at low strength than certain ones concentrated. I know its not needed by any means but had some money to play around with. Shit my last grow i got a hp off one plant in 12 weeks from seed using a bagseed that hermied right away a vivosun 400w mh/hps and just the ff trio. It came out super fire and found not even 20 seeds in the whole hp. I did spend an insane amount of time picking off the male flowers as i saw them develope.i do agree. Its all not needed but im new to growing so i dont exactly know what is and ill spend the money to learn.20211102_082418.jpg

That’s odd that be 8.5 ph ….. I just open a bag of #4 soil that sat in my storage for 2 yrs and the numbers where good…. Gotta be careful with these shops , there gonna sell you on product that they can make the most profits on …. Not saying this shop does , but you can make it work with any soil…. Like fox farm has a ph around 5.8 -5.9 with high ppms … you can do a true flush of just water till the ppms and ph comes in line of using nectar … if the soil of the #4 is 8.5 then maybe email the beard about it and let him know….
I did just take his word for it but im gonna just order it. I may start going through ocg if im gonna spend money so i get their deals. Regardless if the ph is out of whack i know i can fix it now.

Full spectrum light plus full spectrum food. Its gotta bring out the plants full potential and give each strain their different colors, terpenes, cannabanoids, and medicinal effects/high, particular to that individual plant.

Was watching the OCG Fam show deal and noticed they're touting some new Nectar products and a new soil (4shot). Anyone tried these new products out yet?

I’ve been testing there stuff for awhile…… Pluto , Neptune , pig bone , chimera … 4 shot is nothing more then 1 shot mix in #4 soil…. I used 1 cup of chimera when I let myPH drop down to 5.8 ph but that’s from me not watering an extra day but it does raise it , just gotta watch then you don’t end up with high ph …Pluto is like used once in flower same as Neptune is used once in veg… do not use it late veg , in flower leafs will get dark green ….
big bone brings out the smells from the terps…. Kinda like a spice smell….

Be careful with that one - LED Does NOT fit this category :peace:

Do you think it would be better if i put the nftg plant under the hid and the ff plant under the led? Ive heard nftg acts differently under led.
I switched them anyways.im starting to have a little difficulty but thats where the learning comes in. Im getting some tip burn. Dark green leaves and plant doesnt look healthy anymore within days. It may be the Leds, i was definitely overwatering but have fixed that now. Really i think some of ot has to do with the bk and genetics. Its an og. Today was tea day. I used the nftg late veg tea with slf 100 and photo +, i put it under the hid, and am gonna back off on the bk. Im in week 3 of veg so about 7 weeks old and im up to now 1/2 tsp per qt every other day

Shes lookin kinda sad hopefully correcting my overwatering and today being tea day perks her back up in a couple days. Ill take a slurry test in a day or so. Another thing i eliminated is the hygeia hydration. Coco holds enough moisture already. I feel like the yucca was just keeping it too damp too ong like day 3 and 4 were rolling around and the medium still felt damp an inch down but the pots were light like they needed watered. Very confusing. So im gonna blame it on my overwatering.

Im in the NFTG learning curve myself. The owner of the NFTG nute line suggests a 6:1 relationship between Herculean Harvest : BK
If you give Bloom Khaos without sufficient Herculean Harvest in the mix and/or in the soil the plants leaves will tend to claw. I was transitioning a Grand Daddy Purple to flower and gave too much BK and not enough HH and the thing clawed to death. That was my learning curve. I dont know that that is what is going on here, it seems like you are at low doses, so I dunno, but do be careful with BK

good call in stoping the hygie , it does help to hold the mositure , best when you got dry soil. super dry ... hold off on bk too.. if thats all that happens consider yourself lucky , seen where they got toasted .... let see in a day or 2 if they pick up at all , mite have to cut back on the nitogen or complete cut it out.... but lets see what the slurrys are and go from there ....

Perked up within hours and the dark green faded to light a little bit. When i watered today i used alot less volume so now i understand watering in coco a little better and wont make that mistake again. Now the Bk. Im not giving up on it. Just backing off. Im nor going to push it since its my first run so im going to cap the Bk off at 5ml foliar and 15ml watered in during flower. If it responds well if not ill cut the bk and blame it on the strain. Keeping it at a 1:6 ratio of course. Also i have heard them say that the led's act funny with nectar because of the penetration they have. Probably because of the same spectrum all the way through too. Idk im gonna leave that one under the hid.

I switch to LEDs cause what I heard …. Last grow was LEDs … don’t have the issues like some are having .. then again I don’t foliar spray , and really don’t use BK ….. the only time I use BK it to keep the stretch down in the 1st 2 weeks of flower…. I never much a fan of foliar …. To each is own ….. and good luck and have fun ….

Im weary of foliar feeding also but have seen the + effects it has. My last grow i used fox farm but i did buy a bottle of Posiedonzime and foliar fed everyday in veg and never looked stressed.

Is this way ok to mix my bk foliar feed. Im adding it to distilled then using ph down. I dont want it reacting to anything else in my well water so i like to use distilled for foliar feeding anything but after adding just bk to distilled ph is coming out at around 6.6 -6.8 and was wondering if adding ph down after bk has a negative reaction.
