Ok
Couple things
I don’t really see amber trichs in first pics
Second
You have obviously have had some watering issues as your plants are a bit fried
They really haven’t fattened up yet due to this
I would say two more weeks would be a good idea at this point
Are you still feeding them and with what ?

What was with the buds you already took? I see a lot of dead leaves. I'd be looking thoroughly for bud rot.

Ya there was more amber on the tops so sniped off the tops to hang already. Yes, been defoliating throughout.

No bud rot. Greenhouse feeding along with PK booster was what they’re getting. Booster is done as of last week.

I don’t know about anyone else but I haven’t had good results chopping half the plant one week and the rest the next week or so. Best luck for me is to let it go longer and then chop at once.

That’s a good point. The colas are always ready before lower parts of the plant. Some times I chop of parts other times I take the whole plant. If I take parts of the plant down, it’s usually only a week or so before I take the rest of the plant down.
What is best to do?

Harvest when 70-90% of hairs have darkened for highest levels of THC.

Harvest when 90-100% of hairs have darkened for a more calming, anti-anxiety effect as some THC turns to the more relaxing CBN.

I always wait until it’s fully ripe and the calyxes have swollen and pistols recede
