I have grown plenty of photos but wanted to give some autos a try so now got to figure out what method I’m going to use. What do the auto experts advise? DWC/E&F,Hempy or coco. I know every way has its ups and downs. I guess I’m more less looking for what works best for the experienced auto growers

Use whatever medium you use for your photos.
Are they a light eaters compared to the average photo? I should have type the post better I should have asked is there anything like food or type of grow that auto do best in? I know it’s really not much different than a photo but I had read that most autos are light eaters and don’t do well with this or that. Guess I will shortly find out

So they like less nutrient rich soil on average, good drainage (moreso than usual), and they can be over watered easier than photos. Coco or well draining soil is my suggestion. I've had better luck watering them less but more often. They're not my usual jam but that's my suggestion. I'm sure someone who usually runs autos will chime in.

They are no different other than the photo period. A plant is all it is, not some mysterious other wordly entity.

All this shit you read of dont top, train or re pot is only that. Complete bullshit.

Every plant is different regardless, some will be lighter feeders than others. As in all life.

The only difference being any damage in its short 3-4 week veg will effect final yeild. Keep it simple, no crap additives etc.

18-6 throughout, or even the full 24 if you maintain the DLI.

My Auto set up is running 16/8 to maintain the right DLI, I cant dim or lift lights so I had to cut back on the light hours.

I grow all my autos in soil less mediums like happy frog or bio bizz light mix and feed them nothing for 2-3 weeks, then lightly feed. They'll let you know if you know how to read your plants.
Personally I start feeding at 3 weeks conservatively with Bio Bizz grow, bloom, calmg and off they go on their quick journey until all evidence is burned.
