Yet another great find in one of my boxes of LPs that I hid sensimila and seeds in when around 14. Those baggies are hilarious from back then. You can't see it but the baggie is almost totally brown from the years in storage. This particular box was stored with my cousin in his basement all those years. I doubt any if them will germ even with Gibberellic acid to help.

Well if u somewhere legal and had the funds embryo rescue might be possible so never say never yet :bigjoint:
 
I still haven't opened the baggie yet. I will probably get to it tonight but from what I seen there most likely was mold in there at one time. I will post pics after I do that.
 
I've got thousands of Thai lemon haze and Loss landrace seeds from 20 years ago, but 59 years will be interering. Every few months I'll pop a bunch and sell them off to people who struggle to seed.

Germination rates are around 80-90% still. They have been stored haphazardly and spent a year or two in a clear snap on my bookcase that gets sun. Moved from drawer to drawer.

I find seeds are more resilient than most give them credit for. I see so much "planted 20 seeds, not one germinated" stories from reputable breeders on here that makes me wonder what people are doing wrong lately.

they do the " paper towel method" lol
 
In the 70s my dad had a puck container of Thai seeds he collected .
By the 80s i got ahold of them and every single seed had a tiny hole drilled into it by some sort of bug. I've never seen that again.

I believe those bugs dug OUT OF, not INTO those seeds. My wife had a "Mexican jumping bean" before, until whatever was in the "bean", finally escaped, and probably into her room and carpet somewhere :lol:

Do you have Snow High's Vietnamese stuff? I have the black on pre-order, but I'd love to get the silver leaf as well, just to have it available to me.
