Coco does grow faster, still I wouldn't change growing in soil. I love all about it, the little microbes, the little insects, the smell of good soil, the worms, the fact that plants take what they need from the soil and I just needed to prep the soil once, the fact that I only need to water throughout the whole grow and not be mixing bottles frequently, I like that I can reuse the soil multiple grows without flushing it or washing it to prevent salt build up, I like that I can use organic grows in conjunction with having a worm farm. And if everything is well set up from the beginning, the plant will grow happy, green, smelly and tasty without me doing much.
But to each its own. Growing in coco does have its own merits.
