EMP is a general term, I believe they were shooting high powered directed pulses of microwave energy, not a continuous stream. They probably use a gun like directional device, not a bomb like explosively compressed charged coil like used with a convention EMP weapon. A nuke produces EMP as a side effect and it can be enhanced. They would be operating in the GHZ range and it must be pulsed because it would have been detected if it were a continuous stream.

Anyway, attacking diplomats like that is an act of war and I'm sure the CIA knows more than they are saying, I'm pretty sure Joe wants answers ASAP!
They attacked people inside the White House security perimeter! Like senior level officials that were unable to do their jobs anymore. That's incredible.

Only while Trump was running the place, I don't think they tried that shit with Joe running the show. They lost the element of surprise and if they are caught there will be bigly Hell to pay, like a direct conventional war attack on them by America. So since Vlad has all his troops massed on the Ukrainian border, that leaves big gaps in other places. If Russia can sub divide it's neighbors, Russia too can be subdivided and the Chinese should be encouraged to look at those several time zones of virgin forest and minerals just to the north. Perhaps there are "freedom fighters" there who want to liberate themselves from Russia. Also massing NATO troops in the Baltic states would make Vlad think twice about invading Ukraine, if we moved on Russia itself, if he did, go nuclear Vlad or go home. I'd like to see Russia's pre war borders reestablished, they stole polish and Finnish territory and we should get it back.

I'd have Vlad hoping like a cat on a hot tin fucking roof and would be creating problems for him all over his fucking empire. At the same time I'd use the power of the west to crush the Russian economy and have cold war 2. If China wants to trade with them they don't trade with the America or the EU and everybody else, give them the Iran treatment for a decade or two, or until mother Russia shits out Vlad

Putin orders troops to breakaway Ukraine regions
In decrees released late Monday, Putin ordered his defense ministry to send forces to maintain peace in the two separatist-held regions in eastern Ukraine, The New York Times reported. However, it was not immediately clear from reports if troops would enter areas outside those controlled by separatists.

Putin's order comes after he said that Moscow would recognize the regions, known as the so-called Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic, as independent, a move that signaled a rejection of diplomatic efforts to cease fighting.

“I consider it necessary to take a long-overdue decision: To immediately recognize the independence and sovereignty of Donetsk People’s Republic and Luhansk People’s Republic,” Putin said, according to The Associated Press.

In response to that move, the White House said President Biden intended to sign an executive order prohibiting new U.S. investment, trade and financing from the Donetsk and Luhansk enclaves while other Western leaders condemned Russia's decision as a breach of international law.

“We have anticipated a move like this from Russia and are ready to respond immediately,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said, noting that the move was a “blatant violation of Russia’s international commitments.”

Russia Now Has Right to Build Military Bases in Eastern Ukraine: Agreement
Russia has acquired the right to build military bases in Ukraine's two breakaway regions under new agreements with their separatist leaders, according to a copy of an agreement signed by President Vladimir Putin published on Monday.

Putin earlier on Monday signed decrees to recognize the two breakaway regions -- the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic and the Lugansk People's Republic -- as independent statelets defying Western warnings that such a step would be illegal and kill off long-running peace negotiations.

Russia and the breakaway regions also plan to sign separate agreements on military cooperation and protection of borders, according to draft laws that Russia's State Duma lower house of parliament will consider on Tuesday.

Actually the real reason was the most simple-Macron didn't want the Russians to touch him. They wanted to perform whatever their covid testing is on him and he 'no'. Hence the huge table.

I don't blame him..they can use poison this way.
Yes, you are right ,I did read that Macron didn't want to submit to ANY Russian procedures prior to his meeting w/Putin

Ukraine gave up it's nuclear weapons in exchange for territorial guarantees from Russia and the boundaries were agreed upon when the soviet union was dissolved. This is a violation of the UN charter and an attempted Munich agreement by intimidation.

I figure this has more to do with Joe taking Vlad and the oligarchs money and restricting their mobility, they were flying in an out of America every day under Trump. There are things happening here that has got Vlad all wound up that we don't know about and Vlad doesn't want public either. If Putin wanted to make a move on the Ukraine he would have done it while Trump was POTUS and America was weak. I'm pretty sure Ukraine is a hostage in this situation, but once Vlad takes his shot he's fucked and it will be cold war 2.

There is a reckoning to be had for what Russia has already done, including cyber attacks, hacking, assassinations with weapons of mass destruction, political interference and attacks on diplomats with EMP weapons. Perhaps this is just to maneuver Vlad into a position where full sanctions can be applied, Ukraine might get thrown under the bus temporarily. I remember what happened to Iran when they took Americans hostage, they paid a heavy price for decades and continue to, I feel the same treatment is in store for Russia. Russia has many enemies and few real friends and you win by making more friends than enemies in the global village and if you are rich, friends ain't hard to find.
I know that Russian oligarchs own a great deal of real estate in high end New York buildings registered under murky LLC companies bought w/cash.

This is high level James Bond style shit going on,It's been going on for a while now, seems like our intelligence agencies are confused and perplexed by this and aren't quite sure who to hold accountable or how to respond, just another assymetrical threat like cyber that befuddles the US where it's hard to go down the payback road when you have more to lose, all these assymetrical techniques are brilliant tactics for weaker foes to apply.

Newsmax pushing the Russian lie in their title.

It must be nice to have world wide coverage of the Russian propaganda that Vlad wants pushed.

It was also during Trump's term, so it might not have taken much to get people to look the other way.

Yeah by letting us see it it looks like they're having a good time playing cards and smoking weed in the trenches. The tank footage is poorly edited..you can hear them say 'action' with standing tanks:lol:

A Thomson/Reuters article. They are saying Putin is saying he has the right, the rest of the world may not. But what can the rest of the world do? Not much while Europe needs Russia's natural gas.
