Personally, I would cut it now.
The plant will continue to mature for around a week after you cut.
I chop when the bud is 1/2 brown/1/2 white, any longer the weed will be totally brown & I like it with some white hairs still present.
Also, it a smoother smoke & and a more uplifting high.
How many plants do you have?
If more than one, cut one now & let the others mature for another 2 weeks.
You'll see what I mean

Look at the pistils as a whole and ignore the few

Whats your reasoning? I'm just trying to learn as much as I can. My first grow. Chose to go with 3 autos.

If you look at your buds and pistils as a whole ignoring the new white ones that pop up.
You want your orange pistils to receed and your buds to swell , then look for your ripeness of your trichs.

Typically you will get denser buds in those last weeks and a lot more weight in the end.

Thing is i don't think it's a gag. It usually is two to three weeks before it's truly finished when noobs start asking the question.
It's understandable, since there's such a vast difference from weeks 3 to 6 to 9 and on.

It's not like the "about a pound" running joke.

The new ones that you can ignore typically grow off of foxtails and usually in little clumps. They don't really blend in with the older ones, so it's pretty easy to tell the difference.

My recommendation is stop looking at sugar leaves for trichomes ripeness.

If it's not the sugar leaves my next recommendation is stop touching your buds because you would be causing those to happen.

I've been growing for over 40 years & guarantee you my product is top notch (at least that's what my customers say after smoking that shit you get from dispensaries)

I just took this picture. I will wait until Thursday night to chop. Best of both worlds. I want to check trichomes but the scope needs to be charged. It doesn't appear to be getting any bigger, denser or change in color. Only color change is fan leaves hetting yellow and some of the fan leaves drying out.

Temp stay around 78 to 80F and RH @ 60 to 65%. I turn off 1 fan and lowered the rest. Felt it contributed to the leaves drying out so fast.

I'm going to let it rock. I'll keep a close eye on bud trichomes. Hopefully the feeding doesn't ruin things.

I would give it at least another week. The reason I say this is due to the brown hairs that have not fully receded into the buds.

I will say those look closer than I originally thought from the blurry pic.

The real issue here, IMHO, is your leaves are dying off and the plant isn’t going to finish “according to the book” unless it’s healthy.
Sick or hungry plants with leaves drying up and dying seem to linger having characteristics of needing just a little longer.
Again just my opinions based on observation and personal experiences. You gotta keep ‘em healthy and happy until the end the they’ll grow, mature and finish like they’re supposed to.

It took nearly 100 days and it still had some new white pistils on it so I said screw it and chopped

I agree that they are close to finished. I was originally going to say give them a week or so, but then I got sidetracked by the "chop them while the hairs are still white" comment.
