Also, there are 2 Sweet Zombie reports- one from maybe 2017 or 2018 under HPS, and the other much later under LED’s. Summary, a nice indica strain but not very potent- I consider it a beginner’s strain with nice yield. Expert Seeds, the breeder, asked me to participate in some testing, almost begged me, and then never sent the beans so they are currently on my shit list. Loads of their stuff has hermie issues too, so be very careful. They are out of Ireland, but some orders are sent within the USA too.

Thanks for the tip... always good to weed out the questionable breeders... looks like yes on ethos and no on expert lol. Looking amazing as usual Shzz!

Early morning pic, things are definitely getting “denser”, which is a hallmark of the strain. I was worried about the overall yield, but I think i‘ll be fine. The plan now is to go 10 weeks, cut what’s done and move what’s not to another room so I can start anew again. So that leaves another 16 days til the end of 10 weeks, the great majority, if not all, should be done or close to done by then.

Hey Mo.......... yup, they are getting there. Again, after reading more about this strain- I think they won't get much bigger BUT will be dense are f*ck at the end. This hasn't been an easy grow, in a number of regards and I'm to ready to start over with another. 15 days and likely I'll just chop it all down.

The pic directly above is the side of the room i heavily defoliated and if you remember, I pulled each plant out and removed a lot more leaves again (I did not do this on the other side of the room). Look at all the leaves! Trash bag after trash bag of leaves pulled off these 12 plants, and still, plenty of leaves still on the plants. The end difference between each side of the room is on this side, the buds lower down get more light, and they will be more developed in the end. How many grows diaries do I have to do to prove defoliation of some type is beneficial in the long run- less room humidity, better air flow, better light penetration, easier to trim when you chop them, more available energy go to the buds instead of growing leaves, fewer areas for bugs to hang out at and easier to hand water the room if you do that………..BUT, my LED’s push a lot of white light, which in turn produces a lot of leafy growth. You may have to adjust your actions if you are using different fixtures. Message me if you need some guidance.

I can see why... it's definitely a healthy regimen!! I'm just getting going with 1 as a test on feed etc... so far so good.. I can't tell you how much you've helped in the past few weeks... and in the past months reading some of your logs before actually talking to you... I wanted to ask... you are on the 2-3-5 for flower... do u go back and forth with that and the 1-4-5? To keep leaf down a bit? Or strictly the 2-3-5? I messed up and got the 1-4-5 dammit! Lol

Nope........ I switched to 1-4-5 starting at week 7.

Botanicare makes 3 versions, 3-2-4, 2-3-5 an 1-4-5. I don't buy the 2-3-5- I just mix equal parts of the 3-2-4 and 1-4-5 and you'll end up with 2-3-5. LOL (The math- 3-2-4 + 1-4-5= 4-6-9 divided by 2= 2-3-4.5). Close enough!

So I use 3-2-4 thru veg and first 2 weeks of flowering, then weeks 3 thru 6 I use 2-3-5. Then week 7 til 1 week before chopping, I use the 1-4-5. Last week just fresh water. Stop all Cal/Mag the last 2 weeks, as it hinders resin production laste in flowering. Always pH everything to 6.3. I also raise my pH to 6.4 at the very end, as that will slow any Nitrogen uptake left in the soil too.

Long friggin day……here’s the 3 OKC’s in another room under a Medic Grow Fold 8 LED. The plan is to water with fresh water only for the next 5-7 days, then chop. Most of the trichomes are cloudy, just a few clear ones here and there. Damn nice strain, can’t wait to smoke it.

Here’s the other side which I worked today. All plants taken out, cleaned up, staked, watered and some leaf material removed. They haven’t recovered yet, as it’s only been a few hours but they’ll look better in a few days. Notice all the under developed stuff low on each plant. These may need 3 more weeks, not 2. These plants are taller than the other side, with larger buds overall.image.jpg
