Biden Decriminalizes Cannabis

Am I off ignore?
No, but I do occasionally choose to view ignored content. It's a nice choice to be able to exercise. Once you are able to engage in reasonable debates without resorting to pathetic claims of "straw man" and "anecdotal" for everything that you don't have an argument for, I'd consider removing you from my ignore list. I'm fairly certain however, that isn't too high on your priority list. Thanks for asking though.

Labor Unions and police unions are wholly different.
Labor Unions can be just as corrupt as Police Unions. I know, I've seen it firsthand from the inside. It's our job as union members to call the leadership to the carpet when they are acting fishy. The trouble is that most union members are afraid of their leadership, and rightfully concerned about how their opposition to union leadership might affect their livelihood in the future.

maybe in your country reg unleaded is 4 cents less than premium but not here in the US.

has trump even driven a car? i've only seen him posing in one while he had his hand up ivanka's skirt
Trump can't ride a bike and believes people are batteries that eventually run out of juice.

And no, of course he doesn't know how to drive, he grew up with a chauffeur. Motherfucker would die if he had to try and do things for himself other than pay for sex.

Fify ironically, since the imperial fungus ain’t so stiff.

I admit ignorance. From my limited experience, labor unions and advocacy unions exist on a sliding scale. How do I tell the difference?
Its not realistic or nessessary to know everything about everything. I certainly don't. No worries.

I think its imperative to take situations like this on a case by case basis. Unions protect their members, but its what the members need protection from that will tell you most of what you need to know. There are good and bad labor unions as well, and as another user pointed out, its the job of union members to hold them accountable, but that doesn't always happen. Sadly, I don't think it usually happens, however, it is s not as large scale an issue as police and prison union abuse and moral/ethical/actual corruption.

My ex belonged to the nurses’ union. Mix of good and bad, since it is the tendency of unions not to relinquish power and income.

But with the current pernicious “pro-business” i.e. antilabor climate, I’ll take the bad along with the good for which there are no other advocates.

Case in point. At the grocery store there was a guy who was collecting signatures to protect imperiled local restaurants. I was favorably inclined until I found out that the objective was to seek an exemption from the newly-raised minimum wage for staff. I did not sign. The table guy was very sporting about it, which was cool.

According to the Guardian article I posted earlier, there's around 6,500 people that Biden's pardon would affect.
Since 1995 right? Statistically zero. It's quarter step in the right direction though. I think it's important to note that most states issue with cannabis is the Federal issue in the CFR.

I read another article that said there were around 150 people in federal prison due to possession, so hopefully they will get out soon. But, yeah, I guess this really just helps mostly to pardon the past records of those who already served time.

I've also ran my old mercedes on Biodiesel, but waste veggie oil is different than biodeisel. Smells like egg rolls as you drive down the street. I sold my 300TD wagon last year though. I got tired of diesel life. I wouldn't mind getting an old 240D again though and converting it to have a secondary tank for veggie oil, for Armageddon planning and stuff.
Old f250 with the International Harvester 7.3 indirect injection here.

So you would be OK with Social Security Disability being simply stopped. That’s almost nine million recipients cast onto the streets.

Tell me how to plan such that a career-ending surprise event doesn’t cast someone onto the streets. Be specific.
Look at Galveston Texas. They've opted out of SS and doing much better.

Well, it is still plenty illegal in many ways. It sounds like simple possession is getting a pass. But there are still a million ways to burn your fingers with weed. It is probably the DEA's reason for existance.

Hey, the brown folks get some too, so get rid of it, ya would rather starve, how about medicare too, they get some of that! Sounds like a plan alright, one for chaos and disaster, sounds like something that asshole Rick Scott would dream up, something profoundly abnormal about that boy.

I make my own rules in the matter, so it's not cheating. The big problem with the ignore feature is that it often makes threads a bit confusing, when folks are replying to ignored posters.

The main reason I have you on ignore is that you balk at a true debate, which makes me generally disinterested in engaging with you in the first place. It's quite disappointing to get to the meat of a debate only to have the other party retreat into debate-avoidance. I would enjoy a good debate with you, if you were willing to actually debate. I realize that you consider yourself a linguistic master of sorts, but I'm fairly certain that you have over-assessed yourself, which is evidenced by your lack of published works. In a true in-person face to face debate you would lose, and I'd be quite happy to sit at the opposite side on the table.

I do also now remember the other reason I like having you on ignore is that I don't have to continually view your narcissistic sig, which takes up my entire screen. Some forums have rules about this sort of thing, as it's generally considered spamming. I'm surprised that it's allowed here. I mean, really, excessive much?:

I never see the sigs because I use my phone here.

Hey! Have I ever been quoted on there?!

Did you ever read an article about the Federal Government growing cannabis, processing and packaging it to provide for their medical patients? Literally negates the scheduling. They cannot* hold both positions.

Oh, hey there. Looks like you're in the mood to inject a little racism into my statement. I'm totally not interested. Bye.

By kicking out deserving Americans, no doubt.

Your opposition to disabled Americans getting Federal monies is immoral.

That is why libertarians join the toxic evangelicals in allied and aligned doctrines of hatred. They would rather people who reject their lies be punished for heresy.
