Ethos "Thug Roze" meets the Gavita Pro LED's............

Tonight I’ve been thinking about the plants and how there is a wide disparity in finishing times. I may eventually be chopping a plant every day or two the way it looks. And the Super Skunks are a still behind where I thought they’d be by now.

look at the pic above- 7 weeks and at the peak of health. Leaves are at the proper angle, catching all the light they can. I see so many pics of other peoples plants that are yellowing by now. Keep them healthy til the last week or two, other than the tacoing that will occur when you stop the cal/mag.

The dunks seemed to have worked, I haven’t seen any new gnat action in a day or two. I buy those on the cheap on Amazon, and keep them around when necessary.

I’ll check the light height tomorrow, I’ve never really given it any thought this crop.

So stopping cal/mag causes leaves to taco??

Well, it’s a deficiency and the result is tacoing. It can also be caused by heat, I.e. having your plants too close to the light. But generally, late in flowering, after cal/mag is stopped, you’ll see the taco leaves. Late in flowering, it won’t hurt anything.

cal/mag should be stopped two weeks before chopping, as it hinders thc production late in flowering.

Also I was going to ask you exactly what day do you begin to add nutrients to your seedlings and at what percent? Maybe a quick timeline of your ratio progression until you hit 100%

it’s hard to say this is my schedule mainly because each strain is different- some strains like more, some like less, etc., etc. I normally go by feel and how everything looks. Normally, sativa’s need less, and indicas need more but that is a generalization. I’m assuming you grow in pro-mix too?

Promix has a 10 day fertilizer charge in it so I start fertilizing at day 11, around 100-150 ppm which included cal/mag and base fertilizer. You have to watch the plants closely and learn what they are telling you by their appearance. If they become light green, they need more. If they are dark green, cut back some. Work in small steps, don’t jump too high or low, move gradually in your fertilizer mixes. Make sure your pH is locked in too. And always keep the medium moist the first couple of weeks.

Yea I am using promix bx and perlite. I am about to transplant from solo cups to 3 gallon pots when they are about 10 days old. I was going to add liquid karma and that’s it besides PBP grow, Bloom, and cal mag. Have you tried the liquid karma? Also I am using a distilled water maker I use for my plants water. How much cal mag would you run with this setup? And do you still run your lights at 100% power even when they are seedlings?

Uno the thing with it is your under a different light, genetics everything so i reckon your cal/mag % is going to b vastly different to sshz's ..

I did visit your thread, there’s some good and bad in there. You are taking advice from a lot of people, it’s going to get messy real quick. I’ve always said the less you put into your pots, the better off you are. You don’t need silica, at least right now. I hate that shit, if you read all my threads, I talk about my experience with it a few times. Use 3 gallon pots at a minimum. Liquid Karma is not necessary if you are Pure Blend Pro. Distilled water is not good to use on plants, it has everything stripped out of it. I would consider reverse osmosis device Which leaves a bit more in there. Lights are always run at 100%, you adjust the light height up and down as necessary- starting, the lights should be around 36 inches above. I start my seeds right in their final pots. Not sure about your Diablo.

My strong suggestion to you is go search out my 2020 grow of Orangle Gasm On the farm. Read it start to finish, maybe a few times. Whatever I do, you do. If I’m not doing it, don’t do it. Start with the pure blend pro and Cal/mag and nothing else. When you get better at growing, you can start adding things to test them out. The myco’s you are adding are fine, but consider buying the Promix (white bags) with it in there already.

Yes, he’s using distilled, I’m using reverse osmosis. I’m Trying to keep things in general terms, but Max is correct.

hum, u don’t see that question very often. Best way is to water more often, actually over water so water sits on floor or trays too. You can also spray your plants if still in veg. Also, when the warmer the room is, the more moisture can be held in the air. So, raise temps and water more often.

I’m seeing 2-3 plants that are basically early, and probably done. I’ll wait til Tuesday, that will be 8 weeks, and then decide what to do. At a minimum, these plants need to be marked and the flushed til then.

They aren't as far along, since they were put into flowering 10 days later........... and the Thug Roze is known not to be smelly until very late in flowering. So, the house is pretty reasonable at this point unless you are working within the sticky plants. I'd say the room is only a 3/10 right now.

What do they look like under scope and the lowers aswell...i know you dont need one but, they show you when they are ready just by the bud color..im in same boat right now.at day 59 .ive had to reduce feed getting ready to chop.only seeing milky trics atm..
