Fetterman or Oz. Who will win the senate seat?

Speech impediments can be caused by cognitive disabilities.
there is that word again, "can"

If one were being honest, that word requires further information before drawing a conclusion.

That is, unless you are OK with uninformed decisions, in which case, you didn't even need to bring it up. Just say what you want to believe. I don't know why you felt the need to dress your conclusion up with pseudo technical words.

I have never been okay with uninformed decisions. I guess I expect more out of our leaders than you do. And that's fine. Like I've said before, Pennsylvania is not my state so this is not my vote. But I do enjoy seeing how low the Democrats are willing to put their standards into who they think should represent them. I expect in November, we will see what the good people of Pennsylvania decide.

lmao. Yeah because all the Republicans are smooth speakers.

\

Better an American like Fetterman than another Republican foreign puppet.
replies are turned off on youtube for that video...wonder why? maybe because they don't like having to delete all the "cocksuckers" "assholes" and "motherfuckers" that would be posted every time that old scumbag piece of shit opened his foul mouth?

Is anyone watching this? Fetterman never should have debated him.
that's too bad, fetterman is smarter than oz, and a much better human being...it takes a special kind of low life piece of shit to laugh at someone who had a stroke, recovered that quickly, and is just plainly a better person than his grifting piece of shit foreign agent opponent...

No one's talking in my ear. And I'm intelligent enough I don't follow any particular party line. Graduating from Harvard is no small deal. People change. I'm just an observer. I also refuse to take the low road and say mean things to or about people I may or may not agree with. Attacking a person because of the way they believe or think is very similar to attacking a person because of the way they look.

I don't know who's "smarter" but Oz graduated magna cum laude from Harvard. He's not a dummy.

I do find the racist undertones towards Oz from Democrats to be odd indeed.
For the most part I do not engage with the socialistic Democratic Party. A few times I try to talk issues with them, I have been personally attacked or had my intelligence questioned.

The where’s he from has two layers.
1) Do I care about his Turkish descent? No.
2) Do I find it odd that a NJ resident is trying to sell himself as a Pennsylvanian? Yes.

As for his degree, that makes him a charlatan with credentials.

A brain without a heart is a dangerous thing, not a good one, he has no honor and no integrity, character counts and he has none. Made in the mold as Trump from the same base material, shit. Why do you constantly discount the value of character and honor in elected officials, when it is the most important quality by far. Courage counts too for without courage none of the other virtues are possible to practice, the republicans failed in this too with Trump and allowed themselves to be owned by a moronic miscreant. The party as a whole disqualified itself from power, as does anybody who associates with it, America is a two-party system that failed when one of those parties turned fascist and its back on the constitution. Fascism is anti-constitutional and therefore anti-American; it attacks its own country and its democratic institutions, tolerates and shields domestic terrorists, even engaging in treason and insurrection for the sake of power.

i didn't attack you...i attacked the fucking morons who are telling you stupid things...the only thing i said that could conceivably be considered an attack towards you, was my implication that you listen to the stupid things the stupid people tell you...which was not my intention.

lmao at all the people pretending like this is just any old time in American history and not a period where the Republican Party is pulling everything that they can to try to end our ability to have free and fair elections. Including working with foreign dictators which is against our constitution for a very good reason.

It is not racist to point out that Oz is a danger to our society and I could give a shit less of his nationality or religion. He has been scamming the American people for decades. That is a personal choice what he has done. Fetterman had a stroke, it sucks sure, but is not some kind of character flaw, and if nothing else if he can pull of the win it keeps a con artist like Oz out of our senate.

But it won't matter, the trolls are going to troll, especially with all the money that right wing fascists are throwing at it so that they can make a safe space for people to act hateful and not actually have the ability to stop and consider what is at stake for our democracy.

You didn't really read my post. But that's OK, you weren't really using English in the post I replied to. It was a propaganda smear. You've learned your lesson well.

We will see what the good people of the US do in November. Signs point to a win for Trumpist fascism. Whatever happens we'll have Biden as the adult who controls the punch bowl. I wonder if your kind will ever be OK with democracy again.

Yes, we understand that you align with fascism. Your kind crossed a line when you endorsed the overthrow of our democracy. Your intelligence should be questioned.

For example, GOP dunces are voting for people who say they want to cut Medicare and Social Security in order to offset the loss in revenue when they extend Trump's tax cuts. It's the same damn lie that they told under Shrub and Reagan. They got their tax cut but didn't cut government programs and so the deficit exploded. Same damn lie this time around and your kind are buying it again.

Straw man post.

That said, I don't "discount the value of character and honor in elected officials". I never even said that I supported Oz. I only said that he's not a dummy, as you implied.

Perhaps his Turkish/ Muslim heritage doesn't bother you, but it's been set aside as an issue by others in this thread, which I find Xenophobic at best.

Most politicians are charlatans these days unfortunately. I'm not defending Oz, but graduating magna cum laude from Harvard is more than your standard credentials. The only reason I mentioned it is because others seem to think that Fetterman is smarter because he also graduated from Harvard.

i've heard Fetterman speak...he's at least as smart as oz, and he's not a junior trump grifter in training.

That rings rather hollow given the republicans' support of someone like Trump

Yeah sure, buddy

My experience with high-credentialed individuals is that the spread between average values is less than a standard deviation in each group. Statistics (predicated on gaussian math) reveal that using a credential as a predictor fails on the large size of the standard deviation.

I agree that credentials in general can be poor indicators. Fact is I know many people with master's degrees who are idiots. At the same time, I'm sure that it's not easy to graduate at the top of your class from Harvard, and does take substantial brain power.
