Definitely. Not a bad hobby to have. Hash is always on hand. Lol. Great way to use the entire plant , & Edibles with ice water bubble are next level as well

So do you have detailed instructions or a web site to do this step by step? I would be very interested since I never see any kinda hash at all any more since back in the late 70s or early 80s. Had a friend that used to bring it here from Switzerland.

How do you use it in your edibles?
For instance if you were to use hash to infuse butter at what amount would you start with. I generally follow 1 ounce of bud to 1 pound if butter but don't know where to start with using hash.

It took me approximately two years to get my feet under me. I recommend watching frenchi cannoli hash making videos To see the very best show you how to make it. There’s a lot of other videos you can find as well but it starts with getting good bags and a couple of buckets. I recommend cutting the bottom out of one so you can slide it in to protect your bags when you are mixing & agitating your buds/trim in your working bag (blue bag.) “bubble hash dude” bubble bags online makes some good bags to start. Get a bubble washing machine or a paint mixer to work your buds/trim as well.

Can definitely be sketchy. Couple of times I ate too big of a piece and I was high for like 12 hours. LOL. That’s why it’s always recommended to start small and work your way up from there
I usually play it by ear. Knowing how strong the product is that goes into your butter is also important. Got to also make sure that your hash is properly decarbed as well is key. I’ll make a batch of rice crispys and usually cut them down to small squares and start small and then wait One hour to see how strong they are

With that much stuff to make into hash I recommend finding a full size washing machine and use that then just pump it through your bags like with the bubble bag machine. I got a buddy that does it that way because he is making giant batches at a time. I’m still small scale so I just do it with a drill and a rubber coated whisk to agitate the material and it turns out good but I’ve never used it in my edibles yet. Will have to give it a try sometime. I got a bunch of material saved up just haven’t had the time to make any lately but got some vacation coming right up so I know what I will be working on lol.

Been given this suggestion a few times. With a 1400 square-foot house, it’s kind of hard to find the space, And unfortunately my wife does not smoke so me doing what I’m doing on the scale that I am it’s a bit much for her at times. LOL. I think this will be my next move though. There’s smaller washing machines that maybe I can put in the garage

God bless you sir. Would smoke a joint with you in a heartbeat just to hear some of the great memories you have from that era
I didn't start smoking till the 90s. I was an early 80's baby. But the 90s were def the wild wild west of cannabis.

My first time smoking anything was in '69 with blonde & red Lebanese being what was usually available. Sometimes we'd see some from Nepal, Turkey or Morocco with black hash being the result of pressing with layers of opium. The smell & taste of the black was incredible, almost a sickening sweet very heady high that would immediately wash over your entire body with a strong tendency to fall asleep if you smoked too much. Hash back then didn't bubble like you see now unless it had a fair amount of opium in it. Regardless of the source of origination, our 'test' was 1 or 2 hits from a small hand-held pipe & wait a few minutes; not very long. The effects were pretty immediate & little bit went a long way. If it passed that standard we were good to go.

Water extraction was used by the Egyptians a long time ago so it's not new, however the methods & tools used today are much more efficient. While I find today's methods extract the most from the plant, the taste from the older methods is very unique & rare today. The nearest I've been able to reproduce that old, familiar flavor & high from back then is by using cold water extraction due to it's efficiency. Then when dried, roll into temple balls while adding some primo dry sift as a flavor enhancer to gently work it in. But, don't overwork it! It'll have very fine little specs of dry sift visible that will darken and blend as you store it for about a month or so in a sealed jar. Sparking this up with some old heads brings a new light to their faces when that familiar smell & taste hit them, not to mention the 1-hit instant high as they choke-out that first expanding hit with tears of joy in their eyes.

+1 on Frenchy's work, he brought it all together for the rest of us. Rest his soul.

Not hard, but patience in the cure is the hardest part. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions. You’ll find yourself getting better with each run.

From what I was told by an old hippie 30 years ago, there were different grades of hash. 00 hash was made from keif that fell onto a plate of glass or polished stone from budded branches after just two claps of the hands holding the branch. So only the outer trichomes. Then that branch was set aside and the process continued until enough collected to be pressed. Then the grades go down from there. It was the same technique used everywhere hash was produced… Lebanon, Afghanistan, Nepal, etc… or so I was told.
Brooo iam from lebanon we have badd hash in the market all the good shit are exported please if you can tell me how u make the bubble hash step by step (since long time experience)

Look on the internet for Frenchie canolis video and watch that, it explains the process from start to finish. You can buy the plastic washing machine on Amazon for about $65.00 and the strainer bags for about $45.00. 5gallon buckets you can get anywhere. Send me a private message if you need more help.
