He will need to keep an arms length if he is gonna drive it into the ground, he needs a well paid fall guy. Unless the Saudi's and others like to burn billions, he will be sued over it because he has deep pockets. If he does bankrupt it there will be other Twitter alternatives by then and the migration will be well underway. If Twitter, The Parlor and Truth social go down over rightwing bullshit and hate, it will teach future platforms what to avoid! They can't get ad revenue, even from gun makers, if they allow morons to fill their site with hate, trolls and bots posting filth and lies. Besides they all want to go global and they have to contend with media regulations in other liberal democracies and the EU and increasingly the UN will be come involved. Radio was used to whip up genocide in Rwanda and social media can be put to the same purposes.

Sure, in Germany they prefer German cars but it takes serious effort and money to be and be perceived worse than Opel.

Teslas (Treaslas) tend to have high initial satisfaction that goes off a cliff to become worse than all others in USA.

Twitter is important to the press, so why don't AP, Reuters and other news sharing agencies form a consortium and create a twitter clone? Sharing news among journalists was their original purpose after all and social media tagging along with ad revenue can pay the bills for honest information from independent journalists. They can even have an "editorial board" to deal with disinformation and bot policy etc. like a newspaper, when they give you a blue check mark it will be free and mean something, a reliable source. Should the EU or US offer them a no strings attached grant to set this up?

The Model S - only Tesla I've had a chance to drive - is a certainly hi-tech, and very quick (as are most EVs), but I would not call it a driver's car; the lack of conventional transmission, as well as any sort of exhaust signature, certainly detract from the overall driving experience.
Also, as cool as it is with all of the tech features, it certainly doesn't feel as though you're sitting in a luxury car - very, very sterile interior; for $100k+ I would be looking at BMW/Audi/Mercedes due to aesthetics (both inside and out).

Nicest car I ever had was a 3-series. Had to order it special for the stick and the deleted sunroof.

I’m not sending one red cent to the man who suggested Ukraine negotiate because it was costing him a few million. It’s why I call them Treaslas.

It was about 30 years ago that the public internet became popular with the development of the WWW and graphical browsers. Before the internet was a different experience and a lot of stuff was done on the server using obtuse apps a lot of connecting was done by modem. I played many a games of doom using modems with direct dialup to others, then came cable and highspeed. When everybody saw the WWW with Netscape, they saw the future.
