Elons Little Plan

I’d like to think that he played the role well but was his own man after Trek. I don’t think he had the same starship-sized ego hole to fill as Shatner. So while he might have liked the ride, I’m wagering against his hypothetically buying one.
Did Shatner purchase? I thought he was gifted it and your right about Nimoy he was just a man playing a person from another world but we loved him so.

we need to cut him out of anything that involves national security...there is NO reason to trust muck, and many reason not to.
proven liar, unstable, erratic, too many close ties to foreign interests...definite national security risk.
i personally would nationalize spacex and starlink, and then eject him from the country...he can run twitter and tesla into the ground from russia

does it seem like he even has a plan? there seems to have been ample opportunity to not only get twitter up and running steadily, but to actually fix some of the things that were wrong with it.
but...he decided to strip it to the bare bones, reinstate the worst offenders of every rule, stop paying the daily operation costs, and make nonstop inflammatory statements...he could just shut it down, with some dignity.
if he wants a site for fanbois to come lick his taint, why doesn't he just open one? instead of ruining what was a pretty successful social media platform? why would anyone trust him to run anything else? only those with their heads entirely up his ass don't realize that he doesn't run tesla or spacex, he has competent managers that he occasionally shits on, but they run those businesses for him. twitter shows you, up close and personal, what his close attention does to a business.

ever notice how it's someone else's fault? someone as smart as muck is supposed to be couldn't foresee that this was a fucking horrible time to make the deal he made to begin with? he couldn't see that he was paying at least three times the worth of the business he was buying? he couldn't foresee the reaction of advertisers to his opening the platform up to domestic terrorists and white supremacists?
then he is no fucking genius at all, he's just another shitty business person, operating WAY the fuck out of their league...karma will continue to autocorrect until he manages an instiprint in a tacoma strip mall, next to a chili's...

He damaged Tesla at the worst possible time, just as every other automaker on the planet was coming out with EVs of every description and solar roofs now has competition from established roofing manufactures with better warranties, service and products. SpaceX has become vital to the government too and Elon is viewed with suspicion by many in the government and national security community. He owns about 44% of SpaceX and might be forced to sell more for control by adults, unless he is keeping an arm's length away from it. They are doing a lot of military and NRO launches for the government, starlink is vital for military and other government uses as is demonstrated in Ukraine. Controlling drones with it would be game changer, both in the air, on sea and even on land, it can put an entire crew inside a virtual tank, ship or aerial drone, there is that much bandwidth. With just 24ms of latency it is like real time and a ship could have a half a dozen starlink antennas all locked on to a different satellite for redundancy and/or increased data bandwidth. That potentially is what is at stake with starlink alone.
