Hps light distance??

You shouldn't really be vegging under a hps
It dosent provide the right Kelvin range for vegging plants ...you want a daylight white 6500k light ...plus your wasting watts on your your electric bill ...get some cfls or daylight light leds...you can run them a couple inches above your canopy up until flower ...then switch back to your hps if you want

I have used this hps for 2 grows now and had no problem during veg. Really thinking about getting leds.

I vegged under HPS a few times long ago without issues, plants were more lanky than under 6500k fluorescent. Move on to high quality LED Bars or Boards ASAP. It’s a new day.
