In the different stages like seedling veg etc. What should the light distance be in each stage with a 600 watt hps light?

You shouldn't really be vegging under a hps
It dosent provide the right Kelvin range for vegging plants ...you want a daylight white 6500k light ...plus your wasting watts on your your electric bill ...get some cfls or daylight light leds...you can run them a couple inches above your canopy up until flower ...then switch back to your hps if you want

I have used this hps for 2 grows now and had no problem during veg. Really thinking about getting leds.
