Yep It's a very popular strain in the coffee shops or was very popular 4-5 years ago. There's several seed companies that carry their own version of it. I've been wanting that and the cat eye also. I just popped 5 of the black rose. They were first to pop out of 3 varieties I did.

Second Generation Genetics- Einstien's pipe and Sweet Pink. I got the einstiens pipe for like 45 bucks on shn. Looks like they're all coming up. I popped several of the black rose and gave them to a friend several months ago. They were super vigorous. Unfortunately he had them in the ground then it rained for about a month straight and it drowned them. Haven't put up the seedling pics yet but check out my baby yoda grow journal. First 2 photos are from the first run, last 3 from the 2nd run. Both the same pheno. Sweet candy notes with a musky savory background. Like mix of cologne and pot roast. Not super meaty but definitely savory. Really nice smoke, great bud structure like little clouds perfect for rolling. A bit low on the potency end for me but not by much. That's the only reason I didn't keep her.

Nice pheno. I like your description of sweet candy notes with a musky savory background & little clouds perfect for rolling, sounds like a smoker! Too bad it was a little on the weaker side but that happens its all part of the hunt.

Just popped a pack of the casey joney x ggril. Every seed popped. I've been really impressed with his germination rates so far. Did some black rose a few months back and it was the same. Super vigorous.

I just wanna say Bad Dawg and glg are the shit! Just got my seed order from them and they hooked it up hella proper, I had been using attitude because I like being able to buy single seeds and their freebies are usually good, but with the amount of freebies I got with glg (basically full packs of top of the line genetics), and how quick i got them, I doubt I'll order from anybody but glg again, thanks again and i couldnt be more happy w my purchase, I'm really looking forward to growing out the bad dawg genetics too, I'll post when I do

I definitely will, looking really forward to popping the the bad dawg one with the lbl and cake fighter crosses. One of my favorite strains is alien rock candy, I'm pretty sure it's the alien genetics that are bringing the unique terps to it

Gorilla Bubble update: A tale of two plants. Same pack, same bed, same light, same water. One looks pretty decent and the other kinda looks dudded.
Bad news first, this plant seems to be flowering in a discouraging way. The stigmas in the middle of the flower seem to be not growing up out of the middle but radiating out to the sides and in the middle there is a strange looking very yellow center.

The plant behind it looks pretty decent.
And has a normal bud structure so far.
Not much in the way of smell yet from either and the frost seems to just starting to show up.
I'm debating taking out the dud looking plant and cracking a couple of seeds in it's place and running them 12/12 while the other finishes. I'm not sure though if I should give the crappy looking one more time and maybe something miraculous will happen.
