Sleet hard enough to “walk” on today, but not without ice creepers. Chopped my little stone stairs out of several inches just now with my pick axe. 19* and only 23* high. Much warmer after tomorrow.

We're in the same boat.
High of 28 deg F plus at least an inch of ice on everything.
Fireplace is nice tho.

Saw an old lady driving in Wichita after an ice storm with her right rear tire in the gutter and the rest of the car on the road. I guess whatever works.
