I too like shiny things :) let me just say the only trip I have taken back to the dealership was because 1 window they tinted wasn't perfect. They gave me a 7 loaner and re-tinted her perfectly. My first service is booked in May and I expect I won't spend a dime (I bought the concierge service package) and I'm planning on an 8 series loaner (test drive for the coming upgrade). It was a lot of money but with all the other crap in my life my car is no longer something I have to worry about.
Well, I'm talking Subaru, Mazda and the like. BMW and the like are a different story. Obviously convenience is worth different things to everybody. Even if they are rocket scientists. Or pool boys LOL.

I'm looking for a another car too. Always bought new but this time around I'd go for a <12K one. Not much of a selection though. Thinking Subaru Outback/Forester or maybe Kia Sportage/Sorento.
I bought my wife a 2020 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. I honestly liked her 2010 better. And probably will go the Hyundai Kia route next time just because of the warranty. And I think those Kia sportages are sharp looking.
