He blew the whistle on Trump's Truth Social. Now he works at Starbucks.
SOMEWHERE IN NORTH CAROLINA - About six months ago, Will Wilkerson was the executive vice president of operations for former president Donald Trump's media business, a co-founder of Trump's Truth Social website and a holder of stock options that might have one day made him a millionaire.
Today, he is a certified barista trainer at a Starbucks inside a Harris Teeter grocery store, where he works 5:30 a.m. shifts in a green apron and slip-resistant shoes, making Frappuccinos for $16 an hour.
He got a promotion. Good, honest work will always be a better use of your time than aiding and abetting a criminal.

MAN those are healthy Japanese Maples
That from 2017 and was my first and only legal four. Photo was taken well before they finished growing and started flowering. I pulled 7 pounds from my four. That's when I learned that trimming sucks. I gave most away and only recently finished what I kept from that grow. When finished the tallest was 10 feet high the others ranged from 6 to 8 feet and 5 feet wide. Willamette Valley soil makes a nice medium.

Another picture of my dog after those maples were flowering.

Trump’s Media Company Reportedly Under Federal Investigation For Money Laundering Linked To Russia

TOPLINE

A federal criminal investigation into former President Donald Trump’s media company Trump Media has expanded to include potential money laundering violations linked to an $8 million loan with Russian ties, the Guardian reported Wednesday, potentially further threatening the ex-president’s media company and its planned merger with special purpose acquisition company Digital World Acquisition Corp (DWAC).

KEY FACTS
Citing anonymous sources, the Guardian reports federal prosecutors in New York expanded their criminal probe into Trump Media & Technology Group, which owns Trump’s Truth Social platform, at the end of last year to scrutinize the $8 million in payments.

The payments were reportedly made in two installments, with $2 million being paid to the company in December 2021—when the Guardian notes it was on the “brink of collapse” after its planned merger with DWAC got delayed—and another $8 million was paid two months later.

he payments came from Paxum Bank, which is registered in Dominica, and ES Family Trust, and the Guardian reports Paxum Bank is partly owned by Anton Postolnikov, an apparent relation of Aleksandr Smirnov, an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin who worked for Putin’s government until 2017 and now runs the Russian-controlled maritime company Rosmorport.

Investigators were reportedly tipped off about the payments in October 2022 by whistleblower Will Wilkerson, a former executive at Trump Media, who told the Guardian the payments initially “caused alarm” at Trump Media and executives considered returning the money but decided not to, in part because they couldn’t afford to lose it.

Trump’s son Donald Trump, Jr., was reportedly aware of at least the first payment coming through, the Guardian reported, quoting an email sent to him about it to “keep [him] in the loop,” but the outlet noted it’s unclear if Trump—Trump Media’s chair—was aware of the payments and their origins, saying he “did not seem to be particularly interested in managing the day-to-day running” of the company.
Trump Media and the Justice Department have not yet responded to requests for comment.

I wonder if trump has ever had one business in his entire life that was run legitimately, that could withstand even a cursory examination?
My next question? Why has there never been even a cursory examination of every business trump has ever owned until now?

perhaps because he bribed the right people, and threatened (or worked every weakness of the courts until the actual aggrieved party was exhausted) the wrong people.

Imagine his malignant delight in having the power to appoint his kind of judges.

Imagine how hard it's going to be to root the active ones out. It appears that some of them aren't horrible people, just routine appointees, who do have some respect for their positions. But, there are the ones who are active assets, who are actively working towards predefined goals, or who were specifically set in place in circuits to be judge shopped over important issues. Every one of them has to go, straight to hell, preferably.

I think we have a test case in Loose Cannon. She behaved (imo!) in a distinctly corrupt manner.

What they do or don’t do to her should provide a diagnostic.

Well, so far "they" haven't done a damn thing to her, but i know the wheels of justice grind so slowly that they come with a 10,000,000 mile warranty, so perhaps about the time she retires they'll write a letter of censure.

Considering how the GOP has worked to erode DOJ, FBI, IRS etc. in the pursuit of a libertarian—>fascist agenda, were left with a big caseload and not enough people.

I’d like to see her done, but we have some bigger fish to fry. I’d rather the limited resources get focused on the legislators in on the coup. Imo if Jack is going for full-scale seditious conspiracy, that would handily explain the pace of things.

There’s also the prickly matter of what to do about a rogue Scotus. I don’t think the republic has been under this level of threat since perhaps 1860.
