I’m restarting my probiotic grows…
Kinda long read as it’s a Cartoons and Cannibis Saturday morning.
I farm indoors. The last time I tried this, I used diy octopot styled sips, 5 gallon rez with a 3 gallon container on top.
I DIDNOT use the inputs they suggested as at that time to get Bu’s compost to me cost $50 just in shipping. So instead I used my own inputs. I made my own labs useing the rice tech. I used bokashi I allready had, that I added beet juice power and some minerals too.
Went to Home D Pot and picked up some composted cow manure
I used the “Probiotic Wellness Garden for Earthbox” system as a guide line.
My end result, ( with a few hiccups along the way) was indeep impressive.
Then lockdown hit and things went to “ shit” Still was farming but went in another direction.
And now, I’m dipping my toe back into the indoor probiotic grow, this tyme useing Greens ideology as my guide lines.
My sips- are Real bucket system with a 5 gallon rez that feeds 2 buckets.
The living soil is a diy mixture of coco, peat, vermiculite, perilite, worm castings, with rock dust, neem, Oneshot, biotone, and mycos added. (I allready had all this stuff so I used it)
Instead of Bu’s compost I got composted cow manure from home d pot, with a bag of compost. Mixed these together, 70%-30% cow to compost. Added dried rabbit poop in also.
Instead of Gro-kashi I used Bokashi Brothers Bokashi that I added beet juice power and minerals to.
I am out ofEm-1 /labs ( still deciding weather to buy or make)
So I’m useing “Photosynthesis Plus” at least for the first few weeks of soil incubation, till I get/make the labs.
Got it all lasagna-ed up waiting for the fun to start.
In no means am trying to change the recipe. But I had every thing allready except for the cow compost and compost wich cost me $8, add in gas and time and round it up to $10.
I’m will eventually get all the recommended inputs, but for now I’m gonna to make do with what I got.
