Hopefully switching to tiger bloom helps, been using the regular hydro grow big solution and been getting leaves clawing downward

These 2 girls are 9 weeks and very stunted.
I have a good light sp3000 and air pumps but im dumbfounded.
I can’t get the nutrients right. I know the plants feed and that change the ph higher.
but I still can’t get it right.
I did clean distilled after and 1/2 strength and quarter strength and even used tap water.
The two that are not doing well are no name bag seeds im practicing doing hydro on but the plant that is doing good is green gelato from royal queens I think.
I see how genetics make a difference but i still should be able to grow these bag seeds using hydro methods.
Idk anymore

I put 2 plants at 6.0 ph and 500 ppm
And the other at around 5.7 and 190 ppm
And spring water.

the formula was 7 ml tiger bloom and 1.5 ml ph down. Per one gallon

I put the two back into 1 gallon buckets instead of their 5 gallon buckets so I can have better control cuz I’m sucking w 5 gallon

Hopefully all better
I think using the regular hydro grow big stuff w lotta nitrogen was bad idea cuz they starting flowering stage

the two flowers leaves are clawing down badly

some plant tips curled down and now curling up??? Weird

It was fine all those nights I had to flush and restart but the next day 24 hrs later the ph and ppm were all high so today I put two of them back into one gallon buckets cuz it’s easier for my to get them to ph 6 and ppm 500 for both rn.
The other is in a 5 gallon at 5.7 ph and 190ppm

i had to flush and restart like 5 times the last two months
Hopefully this time it works
Had to cut it all down to like 1/3 strength

It has nothing to do what nutrients you use or what kind of water. Tap water should be fine. It is possible that your nutrient mix (PPMs) is way too high but then you would also see toxic leaf burn. Droop is usually from a lack of oxygen (or moisture) to the roots.
No idea what is in those buckets under but it looks like deep water culture. So if the roots are suspended in water then the culprit is more likely a lack of available oxygen. Your air stones could be clogged up or your pumps are just not pushing enough bubbles for some reason. I had very similar issues with my own DWC grow which led me to do “aeroponic” style where you put a sprayer in the bottom and let the roots dangle in the air. The roots really do need massive amounts of air bubbling in the buckets to keep enough airflow. Air to roots is just as important as moisture.
It is also possible that you have bacteria in your system. If ph keeps rising after changing out the reservoir that is a telltale sign that your system is harboring bacteria. Check the air lines and all connections plus the stones/bubblers. It could be related to low airflow; white milky or yellow snot residue can clog up air lines causing similar droopy clawing like this. Be vigilant and check PH frequently.

I did notice a one little tiny milky snot in one of the 4 tubes.
Yea basically netty pot, an air gap for the roots, then the roots are in the liquid solution and then some strong bubbles from the pumps.

Without reading, just skimming, I would say the fox farm nutes are not a good choice for hydro. Go with the general hydroponics trio of nutes. They are designed for the style you are using.

Once you have bacteria in the system it’s a real bitch to get rid of. Pull everything out and clean it with antibacterial dish soap, bleach, and hot water. Seemed like no matter what I did my old DWC was nothing but a pain in ass. DWC is a perfect place for snot to grow.
Had much more success with aeroponic sprayers. Not saying you should pull the plug on your current grow but check this thread out if you plan to grow hydro long term. Stink buds aero systems are much easier to maintain than DWC and because the roots hang in air rather than water. Just read this..

That’s funny cuz two years when I decided to try to grow hydro I did buy a submersible powerful water pump, the timer mister (where u can set it
To just for seconds at a time every few seconds)
And the nozzles for spraying the roots and the tubing but finally started growing last this March.
A couple soil and hydro plants too.
I want to do soil only but rather keep spending the next few years mastering hydro or aero. I’ll check out that link ty!

I used to run stinkbuds aero rails; yields are more than I can get from my current organic soil grow. Aeroponic sprayers are much easier to maintain than DWC. Btw one thing that may help once you get everything cleaned up is to toss some h2o2 hydrogen peroxide into the water. Used to put 1/2 bottle every other day into my DWC reservoir to keep sterile. A drop of bleach or hygozyme after a res change doesn’t hurt either but may fuck with ph. Change res weekly and add a frozen water bottle if water is warm. One thing I can say with certainty about nutrients is that cheaper is almost never better. Spend the extra because shitty nutes do make your weed taste funny; believe me. Spent way too much for botanicare nutrients and grew 8 lush healthy bushy flowering plants. Then in a freak storm we lost power for like a week. Our plants in dirt pots were the only survivors. It was then I gave up on hydro in favor of living soil. Organic is less work but comes with other caveats like dealing with insects and sourcing active compost. I have a worm bin now which is basically the heart of my grow but not every one wants something like this in their house. I only say all of this because it sounds like you are still figuring out what works best for you …that and these gummies got me typing like mad.
Anyway it is fun to experiment with aero system design. If you already have a sprayer head and pump assembly building an aero grow box out of a tote is an afternoon project. A recycle timer has so many uses I bought two. I still have an aero cloner that throws roots in a week with just tap water. 1 on 1 off is like standard but you’ll find with different setups a longer off is needed. Be sure to leave room for roots in aero systems; root mass can be crazy. Let’s see those plants when you get them back to normal; end of ramble peace
