Can I mix Flower Stacker with Maxi Bloom? Not at the same time but for a period and then switch? Or should I just use one or the other the whole time? Thanks
Maybe more info like what's the N-P-K of each and any other major nutrients. Can I mix Flower Stacker with Maxi Bloom? Not at the same time but for a period and then switch? Or should I just use one or the other the whole time? Thanks
Thanks for your time here’s the measurementsMaybe more info like what's the N-P-K of each and any other major nutrients.
Just from the names they sound like much the same things.
Great advice, thanks a bundle. Congrats on the 30:1 that’s a rare treat. I’ll just stick with Maxi Bloom and introduce slowly in the next couple weeks maybe start with a mild topper before like a tomato tone. I was using fox farm Grow Big but only for a couple waterings because the Ocean Forrest still had some juice left in it. Should I flush, top with light tomato tone and then introduce Maxi Bloom slowly? I’ll wait for your response before moving forward if you have the time. Can’t wait to be knowledgeable enough to freestyle it with all the organic slime you. Thanks again OldMed.I'd just stick to the Maxibloom. Adding the other will boost up P more than K and pot likes it the other way around tho we all tend to give too much of both. Make sure you get some S and Mg the last few weeks to boost up terpenes and resin content. Epsom Salts will do that job well enough and cheap like borscht. K will plump up the buds but P is more needed during the first 3 or 4 weeks of flower, the stretch period.
Are you using some sort of base nutes as well? If not then for sure the Maxi as the plants still need some N but reduced from when they were in rapid veg mode. That's why I like 3-part nutes so I can tailor my feed to the various stages of growth. Doing more organics these days with stuff like manures, Gaia Green and specific additives as in kelp extracts, ground lobster and crab meal etc. All stocked up with pot so just barely keeping one mother alive until late fall before sprouting more beans and mostly a 30:1 CBD strain I finally got hold of.
Don't go nuts with the stuff and start with half doses. A half dose of each is like a full dose of one and too much will screw things up.
Good luck.

After experimenting a few times I like to introduce bloom boosters a week before flipping to flower. The stretch is a big growth spurt so the plants need lots of everything available to do their best. In DWC or soilless ProMix HP I'll use some of the 3-part AN Bloom and add a half dose of AN Big Bud at least a few days before switching the lights to 12/12 then give the other half of the BB at the flip.Great advice, thanks a bundle. Wow! That’s rocket science. I am not fluent in that language but google help. Lol Im growing outdoors in 15 gallon pots. The Ocean Forest nutrients are drying out. The plants are definitely in pre flower stage and are stretching but also vegging out more that there is more sun than ever before. To make it simple, I have tomato tone topper fert, maxi bloom, and I’m finishing off the bottle of grow big. The plants revegged a bit because they are now getting the sun they always wanted. They are on day 72 and are six feet tall showing signs of budding already so what’s my next move…should I do one more feed of grow big and then do the topper and then the maxi bloom? After experimenting a few times I like to introduce bloom boosters a week before flipping to flower. Once stretch is over I'l switch to feeding Lucas Formula style which is just no Grow and 1ml/L of the Micro for every 2ml/L of Bloom. Your Maxi should be approximately the same kind of mix with lower N in later flower which is what you want as too much N retards flower production. Too much P gives pot that 'chem' taste so I'd go easy on the Maxi.
I have straight potassium chloride so can add some K without increasing P which I've done about 3 weeks before cropping along with some Epsom Salts at a tsp/L one dose for extra S and Mg.
Generally if you have some of all the needed nutes in the pots or rez you don't really need to play around with individual supplements but I like to experiment and after 40+ years of growing it helps keep it interesting.
I'd give them a low dose of Maxi right now.Wow! That’s rocket science. I am not fluent in that language but google help. Lol Im growing outdoors in 15 gallon pots. No problem, have fun in town. Don’t forget the chips! I wanted to ask you another thing, no rush on answer…I want to protect against caterpillars and mites. I was told to spray a soap solution onto the plants at night. Do I wash them off later on or leave it on? Is there other better things I can do to prevent pests? ThanksI'd give them a low dose of Maxi right now.
Have to run to town so will be back later.
For caterpillars use a Bti or Btk spray. One is for caterpillars and the other for mosquitoes. They're both a bacteria specific to those bugs and pretty much harmless to everything else. For mites I use Safer's End All and add 10ml canola oil/L but you don't want to use that stuff once buds are forming unless you like soap flavoured buds.No problem, have fun in town. Here’s some pics of the 5 different strains…mostly gush mints. For caterpillars use a Bti or Btk spray. One is for caterpillars and the other for mosquitoes. Outdoors nature usually keeps numbers down and you really don't have to do anything except maybe hit the plants with a good spray of water to wash the bulk of the bugs off. I live in northern Alberta and only started growing autos outdoors a few years ago. Regular plants don't start flowering until the middle of August and we've had snow before the end of Aug tho lately our fall has extended to the end of Sept. so autos finish in time. Now there are hemp farms near me so last year's plants were full of seeds. No plants out there this year because of that and none flowering in the basement either as the pollen gets in everywhere. I really don't mind as picking all the bugs out the buds while trimming was a real PITA. This year I'll just grow 15 - 20 plants over the winter indoors under hot HID lights. Be making fem seeds of those CBD plants and a couple other strains. Got one called Paonia Purple Paralyzer that is supposed to be near narcotic so want me some of that! I have dozens of strains I'll never live long enough to grow out so zeroing in on good medicinal strains that will be made into oil for edibles or topicals. I only have a few tokes in the evenings in a little pipe and eat all the rest. I have bad arthritis in my hands so trimming is something I'm happy to avoid.
I don't rinse the soap spray off when I've had to use it indoors and had no problems. Every 4 days for 4 or 5 sprays will get rid of mites. I spray all the branches and main stem well and a light spray on the surface of the soil too.
A bit of bug damage on some leaves is nothing to worry about. just look them over good now and then to make sure nothing is getting out of control.

No matter what who says? Damn South Park, Fuck Canada epsisode! lolThat’s so cool. I’m sorry you are in pain, I’m glad you are able to create your own healing medicine for yourself that eases the issues. I’m in Santa Barbara, CA and it’s a little too easy to grow here. The only issues for outdoor are caterpillars, mites and the ocean fog that rolls in and depending on strain adds a fear of mold. I’d love to make my own seeds, I’ve never done any breeding. I’ve heard the pollen travels like crazy, they sure are alpha plants indeed. Is it ok to spray the BK on the preflowers lightly, the caterpillars tend to like hiding in the buds so I want to get just a tad in there preventatively. I could always wash my buds after harvest. I’m getting some revegging buds that look pretty wild in one plant but I’ll just trim a bit to fix that. I have 11 gush mints an OG, Slurty3, Gods Breath, Caffeine and a Garlic Banana. Do you mind if I take pics for you and you can tell me what you think? So nice chatting with you, I knew there were cool Canadians, no matter what they say. )
Beautiful! If you scroll up I sent pics. Do you low stress train or lollipop? How do you get the buds so uniformed. Theres like zero popcorn buds!?My colas never look that dense, I think getting the bloom nutes is the key to making the big difference. I hope I will need to use support bamboo! Yeah please look at the pics and let me know when you have time.No matter what who says? Damn South Park, Fuck Canada epsisode! lol
Good time to spray for those cats. Even when the buds start forming it won't mess up the taste of the buds. We get those little white moths here tht lay on cauliflower, broccoli etc too.
It's your thread so post all the pics you want and I'll have a look.
These are the first two decent autos I grew the 2nd year of outdoor. I took off all the fan leaves as I was chopping them down the next day. Got 6oz of dry bud off each. Mazarilla by Urban Legends. Mazar auto X GG#4 auto. Great buzz.

Last year's plants that grew a little smaller and I couldn't figure out why until I found all the seeds. Grew these in a different spot out in the yard so had to put up a wind break as there's nothing but open field and it blows hard here sometimes.

Doesn't shock nothing to top and it can be done any time. The start of flower is a pretty good time and will keep the plant from getting much taller while sending energy to tops on the side branches. Side branches can be topped too so it spreads the weight around to lower buds on each branch. Will do all that for sure thanks. Only thing I’m weary about is topping them. Isn’t it a little late for that? I do have a few younger ones that I could do that too and see what all the fuss is about I guess. I’ve heard only to top in veg cause of the shock. Most of them are into flowering by now. Can you tell me exactly how and where I should top. Don’t wanna go too low or too high. Also how do I put the bamboo anchor in without disturbing the roots?
