From what I understand apparently they don't do that surgery anymore they're letting gravity and the fact that the bones get sticky to do itself makes no sense to me when looking at the x-rays it looked a good inche gap in between the bone doc told the wife that the first month is going to suck and the second month is going to suck but by the third month it should start feeling better so I'm not sure about it anymore

Although, they still do surgery statistics are showing that 1/2 to 2/3 of the time depending on location, non-displacement and number of fragments in a comminuted humeral neck fracture that a non-operative approach yields just as good a result in the older and/or osteoporotic patient. If they begin to make noise about opening ask about percutaneous wiring.

The article I linked is a tough read Jeff but will give you the reasoning behind the information above if you want to slog through it. If not, from my perspective on the little information I have, it sounds like they know what they are doing and giving the conservative approach a try is usually the best approach. Luckily this approach is the lesser painful one.

For those of you not up on the saga, 2 years ago I installed a gas fireplace into the old masonry one, and some holes were drilled through the concrete and brick, and since then there have been baby snakes getting in, in August. Oh and I did find adults living in the basement area of the chimney. It's like a small crawlspace under the fireplace.

I did a bunch of sealing last Fall. That's why I need to go clean my basement mess up...Too many hiding places currently!! And a tent now- More hiding places. The babies are usually searching for water I think...They don't really hide! I sure hope mama isn't in here somewhere!! Luckily they are harmless, but...

I am not a fan.

My first thought when I saw this was, "I wonder if Manfredo checks his car too?"
I might jump out before I even think of stopping the car.

Ortiz spotted the first two before he left his driveway. One was peeking out of the driver’s side dashboard air vent and one was curled up sleeping in the center console next to the cup holders. A third snake waited until Ortiz was actually driving before emerging from the passenger side dashboard air vent.
