I want to upgrade my hydrometer because the one I use atm is really cheap ! It doesn't have a probe but I'm a little confused? I've been looking at some ac infinity hydrometers it has probe it also has a LCD light : / display yeah? I'm in week 3 of flowering I'm not putting that inside the tent lol .

As long as my #’s are within a couple percentage points of the true value I’m good with it. I buy hydrometers by the dozen, they’re cheap, and I’ve only ever had one that was wildly out of calibration, most are within 2-3% of true value, as checked against a quality hydrometer.

If you want something that's Bluetooth and logs, govee is awesome. Toss it in the tent and just open the app to check it. The app is no bs and easy to read. If you just want one that you can stick in there and see, buy a 12 pack of the little cheap ones. You can also use them in your jars/bags.

I have a couple hygrometers in the tent and in surrounding room. Many decent, cheap prices. I also have a security camera in my grow room to see what the temps and RH are from anywhere.

Ok yes I absolutely want a bluetooth one so I can monitor it with the app but one question does the actual hydrometer device have to go inside the grow tent? Or do you stick the probe through the top of tent ? Near the canopys of plants

Sounds like you know what you're doing I definitely want a bluetooth hydrometer meter with probe but I'm confused does the actual hydrometer device? Go inside the grow tent? Or just the probe part?

Cool so even cheap ones are decent enough? But despite this I want a bluetooth hydrometer with probe but does the actual hydrometer device go inside the grow tent? Or is it just the probe? That needs to inside your tent?

You can calibrate hygrometers. Get a jar and fill it with a slurry of table salt (no substitute thing). It has to be saturated with excess at the bottom.
Then put your probe inside, wait for it to equilibrate. It should read 75 %rh. Or use boveda packs. Same technology but different salt.
