Wrong. It's a narrow band comparing CRI of a led panel (modern leds always >80% CRI and those colour combos expand with recearch continually, layouts improve)
Surely a 600w dual HPS has the most photosynthetic efficiency and luminous flux in metallic bulbs, but the issue is almost always a crappy reflector. Something like a premium adjust-a-wing costing 3-4 times the bulb is necessary to bring it close enough to enjoy the brightness (~14" distance), this also requires meticulously accurate fan control. A heat shield is needed below the light bulb to negate heat radiation and hotspots.
