Same. I have a 200w Spiderfarmer panel that works well but runs hotter than my 500w Viparspectra bar light. As soon as I got that it was bars only for me.
I hear ya on the heat.. Got that 700w updayday that was posted here a couple weeks ago and hung in a 5x10 a long with my viparspectra ks 5000.... Holy smokes there went the nice environment! Albeit a marginal upper loft to begin with but gonna have to save that light for a different scenario in the future.

I won a 630w Phlizon last year. You could cook hotdogs on the driver and it's not removable. Good for the basement in winter!

50 degrees at the moment, headed to 77 and the north wind is supposed to stop. It finished the drying of the last of the outdoor plant so it's back to trim jail for me. Checked the new light to make sure everything worked ok before the return window closed, all good. Need to get my son to move some furniture around so I can use it for flower in the closet and veg with my T8 LED kluge by the window. I guess I'll find out if I need a vent fan for heat when I run it, it does have a removable driver at least.
Mornin.
