Most good things begin with a mess but we get there eventually. Great looking space. Should be plenty of room. You going with tents or making a enclosure? Basements are great to grow in.

4 Kona Sunset
The latter two groups are unsexed, so the plants are numbered (PK #1 - PK #4, etc). That way, I can have something to refer back to if I need to play "ditch the males"
FYI - the light I'm currently using is a California Lightworks SolarStorm 880...

24 hours, ain't nothing popped up yet...well, except one. One of the GG#4 was going root up!!! I gingerly removed the little darling and flipped her over. Hoping for better news today.
I put NO nutrients in the water...it's planted in 70/30 coco/perlite. Do they need a weak solution yet? I wouldn't think so...

I would remove the dome. That's not needed for seeds.

I can't really tell from your pic. How powerful is that light?
For seeds you don't need much light and a heating pad underneath is enough to get them started.

It's a SolarStorm 880, in veg mode. I think I'm going to lift it out and hang a couple of shop lights...less wattage, less electricity...it might be baking them in the soil. Time to start over...sigh

Seeds got trashed, the last go around...didn't work out at all, not one seedling...sigh. That, and life took over.
I have the tent ready to put together, and bought some more seeds. I'll try another batch of six here when I get the tent up and going.

I have volunteers coming over to help me finish tent construction this weekend, and I just received rockwool starter plugs and some cubes. I checked downstairs, and I already have 5 DWC buckets, if I choose to go that way! Otherwise, I can do hydro drip until they're well set up in the rockwool cubes, and plant those in the coco/perlite mix
And we're off to the races! I'll send pics of the room when it looks a wee less of a shithouse mess

About 36 hours later, all but the Grape Ape have popped!
I have "tent help" coming this evening, so hoping that things all meld and that I have the tent up by the time the girls need it!

Updates....
The tent is up!! Took some help, but I got the skin over the frame!! I have to get the light bar up, and the fans, and all that other cool stuff...but, by the time I have green that needs light, it'll be ready!
Next - The Grape Ape popped!! I'm six for six!!
Finally - my wall decoration came in!!
Time to show off a little...

Got the exhaust in, the fans in, and the light set up. I still have the flower add-in to put up (no worries there!) and a few other goodies for the tent, including the humidifier. But, it's a start!
The White Widow is failing somewhat, I may go try to pop the last of the beans of that strain that I have, and go from there. Overall, however, I'm very pleased with the outcome - still, I need to go through some of the instructions for the control panels...this dang thing has more controls than a space shuttle!

White Widow in rockwool failed, and the others still haven't made it through to the bottom of the cubes, as of yet. I got 2 - 20W full-spectrum LED garden lights from Harbor Freight, and I have those up in place of the 1000W light at 20 percent...so I'm using 20 percent of 20 percent...lol. I also planted some in coco/perlite...here's the latest...
