Time for a trip down to the free lumber bin so I can begin work on the new pollen collection unit in the spare bedroom. So far it's only a 2x4 with a scrap piece of plywood and a cardboard front. Red eye jedis are starting to open up, and I'm getting some pollen! Using one of my moms old cross stitch projects that she framed. Thanks mom!

happy sunny saturday!!!! so fucking happy to see the sun today for the first time in weeks. glorious! hope everyone is doing well - i've been lurking lately, things have been busy this past week with family stuff, garden projects, and general "i just don't have the energy for much."
but here's a photo recap of some green things
second run is well underway after a bad start - too cold and too dry for the first few weeks. i added the heat mats + the humidifier and things perked up. this is end of week 6, puberty just hit and ladybits are poking out. these are both mephisto, back is bare assed monkey and front is orange diesel.
greenpoint; back is oreoz and front is wedding cake
onions are up and growing well; these are four weeks old and will be planted out in may soooooo we have a few months together on the porch yet to go
kale, also four weeks old. this is going outside likely around the vernal equinox (i'm witchy like that)
THIS IS CURRENTLY STANKING UP MY WHOLE FUCKING HOUSE. i bought a levo 2 off fb marketplace for $100, then bought the bigger pod. this is an ounce of the fast eddy cbd which is listed at 9% thc and "high" cbd. i smoked half a j of it the other day and was pretty zooted - or at least, much more zooted than i'd anticipated. and it was a good three hour buzz. i had read that the levos don't stink and i've been lied to. all other decarbs and infusions are gonna have to be on the porch. our house is very small and it smells like cheech and chong live here.

Decarb in the oven. I didn't know Levo had that jumbo pod. I just started some lettuce to transfer to a cold frame in march. Looks like I used up my onion seeds last year.

my onion seed hack is to leave one or two in the ground, foregoing harvest. they die back and then sprout again the next spring, and by summer they set a flower that i then let go to seed; usually get a couple hundred seeds off each flower.
lettuce is one of our favorite things to grow. i'm starting mine this week. nothing like fresh homegrown lettuce for salads!
