Vashon Seed and Mercantile. Early Bird. It came from the original Super Sativa Seed Club, in the 80s, and had been bred in Holland, for mold resistance, and early flowering. It was hybridized with an Early Vashon Kush, which had also been bred for mold resistance, and early flowering. Its been stabilized, for decades. Its also good weed, and has a better than average harvest. Its done between last of August, and Mid September.
They also have an Eki Bird, and is an Early Flowering Pheno, of Early Bird. Its often sold out.

Most everything they have, is Mold Resistant, and earlier, than most.

Can be had at JamesBeanCompany. $50 a pack. cheap too.

Vashon is an Island, in Peugeot Sound/Washington State, and it can have a high amount of mold, to contend with.

Are you running those outdoor? I got 2 pacs on the way i plan on running outdoor in maine maybe a little breeding Saw some pretty good results last yr that a buddy grew.
Hey man, encouraging to hear your buddy got good results. After last year I decided to look into strains that handle our climate. Got lbs of not quite ripe bud, smoking on it tho, but it is disappointing lol! Saw Early bird recommended a few times ( Thanks Jimmy!). JBC seeds was great to work with, also sent me some free Grape Moby. I'd recommend for sure.

I plan on running a few Early Bird outdoor this year, wish they were fem if they were I'd run a lot more. I'll be sure to post on your outdoor thread this summer. I also got some purple punch to run outdoor. Said purple punch was good for cold climate, mold + pest resistant... Reading more from others that this may not be the case so not sure what all i'll do now. What are you planning on running, saw you were planning some depo.

Running a dozen 1 gal DeathStar 12/12 from seed right now, popped 3 early bird and threw in the tent. Just hoping for 1 female to get a sense on the flower time to see if its near breeders timeline.

Your buddies finish time is exactly what I'm looking for! Anything before humid/ rainy October. I made it to oct 20 in Michigan last year. Had some rot on a few plants so I just tossed the entire plants. Had 10ish going, all for personal so didn't want to mess around with it. The rest needed 2 more weeks at least, except for the North ThunderFuck, that one turned out alright but not very strong.

Springs around the corner!

I have run the Vashon Early Bird in Maine as well, its does finish very early. However, I did not find it to be resistant to mold. My plants were super dense Indica style plants and both years I ran it, we had very humid Augusts in my area. Had to fight rot on all of them. Just saying, don't let your guard down.

In all honesty, I have been happier with cross's I chucked with a VEB father.

AKBeanBrains-Freezeland.
You can email Dave at dankortowne@gmail.com Also he gives more free seeds than most, and if you ask, he would probably give you more of the same seeds as the freebies, if asked. He always has for me.
I also hear hes been extremely sick.

These are the original Freezeland IBL genetics worked by the Bush Brothers that have since been further refined as part of a community effort with a few Canadian based friends.
This line is extremely hardy, weather resistant and fast finishing making it a perfect choice for the less than optimal extreme northern climates. THC averages around 15%, but the terps make up for it by bringing the funk with the haze.
