Yes, I watched the Forum being built when I was in the 4th grade at Osage Elementary- the first time I smoked pot (which actually turned out to be hash) was at the Forum in 1972 at a Grand Funk Railroad concert. @doublejj was there too in a wild coincidence

The most kickass shit I ever smoked was some "Buddha stick" we got on Guam in 1976 when the destroyer I was on was on a West-Pac tour. It was $8 a stick and two tokes would put you on the floor with your legs splayed out, lol- pretty sure it was opiated

I used to get Buddha sticks from Loadmasters on C-141’s. I was a military brat.

How can Guam have such great shit? Isn’t it like this teeeny tiny island out in the middle of nothing. There was a job posted there recently I looked at and I was like no fuCN way. Island fever and being trapped out there with no where to go and typhoons. It just doesn’t make sense how they could produce and transport so widely.

I've been through 3 typhoons at sea on a destroyer when we recorded 40degree rolls- at 45 degrees the bolts are designed to shear on the 5" gun mounts, the ASROC, and the TARTAR missile launcher and they fall into the sea to lower the COG so the ship doesn't capsize. Everyone is seasick
We went to Guam the summer of '76 shortly after a typhoon had hit and done significant damage to the sub base

Got dive certified there, 100' visibility was standard. Dove on a crashed Val bomber once, the chrome in the landing gear was still shiny. The coolest one was going down a submerged blow hole that opened up at 115 feet to a sheer wall and open ocean.

They found some pot in a locker (real bright) but they didn't find mine, which I had stashed in an overhead flourescent light
