Just do what is recommended and proven. Not reason to reinvent the wheel and fail.Also..I will not get the peltier kit, I guess like Amnesia said, the onboard Peltier should work, really stoked about this..over posting here

you wouldn't of had to if you kept the foam/cardboard corner packsYeah, I had to shim it. Maxed out the feet. It's dumb that they make one of the front feet on the hinge for the door and it's not adjustable. But, when I got home tonight, I checked and it was dry inside and the tray was just about full. It's not near as big of an issue if you hang dry the plant for a couple days before putting it in the Koolatron.
I'm sorry Lou! I've read a bunch of the thread, WHAT MADE YOU SAD? Am I wrong about not additional Peltier? or ...Goddammit guys I just wanna do it right!I'm 12 pages in, so no additional peltiers, just use the onboard cooling and the shmidt dehuey, got the koolatron yesterday and waiting on the dehuey, thank you all
It is not a thermoelectric so it will not work for this purpose. Any of the wine fridges that list a compressor are not thermoelectric.Arctic King Premium 34-Bottle Standard Wine Cooler, Glass Door, AWCA034ADB https://www.walmart.com/ip/737222365
Should this work good? Seems like a good price for a 34 bottle.
I'm not seeing whether it is thermoelectric or if it has a compressor. If thermoelectric, it should work, but im guessing it has a compressor.Arctic King Premium 34-Bottle Standard Wine Cooler, Glass Door, AWCA034ADB https://www.walmart.com/ip/737222365

Yeah I couldn't find it either on the Walmart website.Hook daddy got the jump on me.
Depending on how full you stuff it, it comes close to holding a lb. I have 2 now, but before I built my second one it was great to put all the nicest colas in and know they were drying and curing properly. Also gave me time to see how it worked, but then again when I built my first one I didn’t have all the info I know now either. Thanks
Has any one posted a bigger one than the 20 bottle koolatron?
I find I'm usually drying less than 1lb at a time, do you think the 20 bottle is sufficient?
I found this guy for 20 on offerupDepending on how full you stuff it, it comes close to holding a lb. Edit: The thermoelectric wine cooler’s top out at about 20 bottles. I have seen a couple at 24 bottles but that’s about as big as they get before becoming inefficient.
...but its smallerI found this guy for 20 on offerup

I believe there's no compressor so I should be good to go?
Yep but for $20 I might as well. The koolatron 20 bottle is $150ish for a used one on Amazon....but its smaller
Awesome. I'll get it today and pick up the inkbird and a dehueyIf you found it for $20 it seems like a good deal. It is smaller but will work.
Nope, I don’t have a channel. I barely have time for my gardens and everything else.Is this your channel HookDaddy?
