This morning I noticed that the lid of the bird box was half off, damn magpies I was angry that the blue tit chicks were gone with magpies then I seen mum and dad flying into the box ![Smile :-) :-)](/styles/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

There's 8 blue tit chicks unharmed tf so I fixed the lid with wood screws to save them from an inevitable death from magpies.
The blue tits built a nest earlier in the season then left for a while then about a month ago ± they returned and laid eggs.
They usually nest in the box but not always, I was wondering if it the chicks that come back or is it just random blue tits?
