Hey Conor, thanks mate I got told they were collected from good bits of weed through the 70/80s so I really don't know what to expect if they do sprout?

I've been reading up on starting old seeds to try and give them the best chance, apparently sea weed extract works well?
I've got some nitrozyme H202 to give it try.

I was going to ask you about selfing my exo, it's said it won't reverse so I've taken a clone to hopefully stress it into yielding pollen, I'm not really sure what's the best way to go about it?

@Tolerance Break hey bud, if I can get them to sprout yes I'll keep a diary on them.
There's a few ways seaweed helps earth worm castings and or gibrellic acid can help to pop the older seeds

It can be it's just a bitch to reverse and get usable pollen from STS is the way I think it takes a concentrated solution as Franco put it "lab grade" lol you need to milk it as well as cos if it does yield viable pollen u won't get much you proly need try to dry it and manually break it apart and harvest it that way it take many cuts of it too

Hey folk's, If you started seeds from the 70s and 80s what terps would you expect to find?

I only tried two types of bud in the 80s seeded Afghani was one of them which I enjoyed tbh, another was some kind of bud, more yellow/gold than green, it was more spicy than hashy with loose bud structure it was damn good tho, I'd love to stumble onto to it, any ideas what it could be?

I bought Acapulco gold just as a wildcard I'm happy to take a chance on, its rated highly enough that I'm unlikely to be disappointed with it regardless.

Edit...I ended up with 18 seeds after rolling between my fingers and scarifying them, I put them into a tub lined with 100 grit sandpaper and spun them around for 8/10 minutes.

I mixed peroxide 2ml per ltr (17.5%) and 1ml of nitrozyme per ltr.
Let's see what happens?

Ah right mate of course, I didn't realise there were so many available in the early 70/80s, I thought maybe there might only be a handful available back then.

Fyi no seeds have sprouted yet, I've put then into tissue paper, fingers crossed.

Cheers bud
