Morning, another deluge of rain + lightning to raise the humidity this morning.
Just blazed thru in minutes and vanished off the radar. Turning hazy hot and more humid later.

Wife saw an enormous bobcat hunting in the yard this morning. Medium dog size and hungry.
She was sputtering a bit, had to look online to see if they got that big. :o

Happy Saturday my pretties!

Back home from Southampton and wouldn’t you know it, our youngest fractured his ankle after a tumble at the skate park (second last day there too). So he’s immobile and I have 18hrs to pack up for a flight to LA tomorrow. Miz Chiz is not happy about this development, I can assure you.

Garden ladies are pluggin’ along. Still really annoyed I couldn’t get these flattened out this year. Gonna spend all friggin’ winter researching critter deterrents.

Have a most excellent Saturday!

I had the groundhog come up on the porch twice, eat branches.
Poked him with a bamboo pole last time I caught him, hasn't been back. lol
Used some 4'x8' lenghts of garden fencing and made circles to put around them.

82 degrees, mostly cloudy with 50% humidity. See, it does get humid here sometimes. Have some monsoonal moisture getting pushed up here from the south. The bad part of it is possible dry lightning over the sierra's which has started many fires over the years. Forecasted to make it to 106 this afternoon.
Mornin.

I'm having a bad groundhog season.......I mean gardening season. Yesterday evening I found I don't have any more peas and a good amount of bean plants are also eaten up. They have a date with the dirt :cuss:
