Some of the buds look almost done, but a lot still have a good amount of white whiskers comming... I think I'm almost done but I think another week or two? maybe 3?

They still seem to be fattening up... ahh i hate this part of the grow!!!!

Ignoring the sacrificial plant obviously, that one's a gonner, It'll never bloom in time.

Just taken a sample of 'larf' (for the purpsoses of science)

I think I've still got a week or so to go yet, maybe 3 weeks, 4 weeks on the outside of the envelope?

Science is the purpose of life! Lmao! Love it! How do they look under the glass?
Don't know yet, my frien has my pocket microscope 'somewhere'... he's going to 'look for it' before I have to buy a new one.

I'm sure we all have 'that friend' that you lend something to, and it either goes missing, or gets returned broken or with missing bits.

Can I borrow your socket set/ hole saw set? hell no! I'll bring it round for you to use and then I will take it home again!! ;)

That's pretty bad ass! What are you doing about the bud?
Dunno yet..that sample is about 5 days old, and wasn't taken from the more premium looking buds, so I'm going to take 4 or 5 better samples tonight when its thier day time...

This sample seems to be about 50/50 with clear and cloudy, with a small scattering of orange, So it guess i will see what some new samples look like later... I think im pretty close to chopping though.

I'm seeing a lot of clear trichomes... So I'm kinda torn.

Some of the earlier samples I smoked, and it's really good... but I'm tempted to let it run another week in a sort of 'wind down' phase, as in no more food and check again in a week?

it smells fricking amazing thogh... I can't evenspell, im too stoned lol

Hell yeah let her sit and stew some more cloudy and amber trichomes. It won't hurt to let her ride!

THC content is highest when trichs are clear.

As they age, TCH content drops and the trichs change from clear to cloudy to amber and then black.
Yeah it's really nice already from what I've smoked, which wasn't dried/cured properly anyway, still pretty 'wet'.

I guess I'm just holding on for it to put a little bit more weight on before we get into the territory of diminishing quality... the age old question of when exactly to harvest, lol!

I agree. There's a fair amount of bulk added in the last few weeks.

Conventional wisdom says that flower that's harvested early leads to a "racy" high vs a more mellow high from flower that is harvested later. What was the impact of the "early harvest" smoke?

Yeah I'm kinda aware of all that, it's not my first rodeo, but still it's an area im not too confident with...

The high so far from the early samples, really good quality high, It's my nicest effort, yet IMO, but yes a very clear high, strong but in a good way.

I guess my rationale is it's mostly 'kush' genetics with a bit of WW in the mix, so I was thinking maybe let it go a bit longer being more indica dominant... but I'm really on the fence...

..I'm really impressed with the smell and the high so far so I think I'm going to chop sonner rather than later, I guess I'm also mentaly biased, as I started out with 3 seedlings, one died, and one started blooming before I flipped to 12/12 and the other one is just gonnna bue cut and composted as its not going to work for my time frames...

..So I've basically got one plant, and assuming it's an Auto that got mixed up in a photo-seed pack, there's nothing even to say it's the same strain I ordered, lol, it could be anything...

It was a limited run of seeds, So I guess it comes with the territory.

I only grow for myself so I'm not relying on having huge yields per m2 or anything like that.
I'm half tempted to cut them down on friday when I've got some spare time to deal with it.

I will contemplate this after a smoke, lol!
