Dave, cloning is definitely worth trying. Once you get it down you save yourself ridiculous amounts of time and effort. You get to recreate the genes of the mother plant meaning NO MALES and you can pick only the strongest plants to clone. On top of that a clone is as mature in age as its mother so it grows way, WAY faster than a plant from seed. I'd say on average that between a rooted cutting and germed seed planted on the same day, the cutting will grow twice as fast in veg. Plus, I would be super pissed if my plant turned out some A+ buds and that was it. It was dead and gone forever. All seeds (even those from same strain) have slightly different genetics so you will never see that exact same kind of bud again. Only by cloning do you keep those traits alive. It's not hard to do either. I got 7 out of 8 to pop roots on my first try. Did I mention no males LOL.
As far as your nutes you need to cut down N and boost P and K the farther into flower you go. My regimen is a two-part 5-5-6 for first 4 weeks then I decrease the two part level and add a bloom booster which is 0-5-6. I am cutting the N supply signaling the plant to begin to process its own stored sugars and N supply in order to fatten up buds. 10-15-10 what is that, schultz? It's not ideal but would be alright for first half of flower. I would for sure try to get a proper mj bloom/flower nute as well as a bloom/flower booster. I can make recommendations if you want.
