Tangie#1....Harvest day

First plant to wear a floater screen throughout flower. I trained this thing down a lot and it spread out nice. However, I used 2x2inch spaced wire and it was a pain to get out of that.
I'm anxious to see how the others do with the 2x3in spacing.View attachment 5428827View attachment 5428820View attachment 5428823View attachment 5428821View attachment 5428828View attachment 5428822View attachment 5428826View attachment 5428824View attachment 5428825

Hung them up shaggy this time. I'll trim them down later. Old guy needs a break..lol The bathroom smells of floral cat piss...Mmmm...great buzz but this shit stinks like an old cat lady.

Two root balls to look at from completed plants. 7 gal grow bags

I always up pot to my last pot just before flower. I want them to have plenty of new medium and space to fill.

Tangie...she barely filled it at all. It was up potted from a 3gal to 7. So roughly 70+ days in the bag. It's good to see she was not restrained in any way. This was a regenerated flowering clone.

Cinderella99...recently harvested. A little different story here. She was up potted from a 1 gal to a 7. It has spent 100+ days in this medium. Spent some time in veg and then flowered in this pot. I'd say it consumed a lot of space. That plant could have been watered every day in flate flower. However I stick with the every other day regime with her. This too was a regenerated flowering clone.

So, I'm pleased at what I'm finding. I need to continue up potting just before flower. I'll rarely see a plant flower more than 85-90 days so I know these 7 gal can do the job.

If I ever run a long flowering beast I'll make sure I have a larger pot. But I think the 7gal handle it well for a normal run.

@FmSwayze thanks man. I smoked a few little quick dried tester buds. I have a high tolerance and this shit lit me up. Very intense sativa high.

Okay so I'm really considering taking some clones of Tangie #2...lol. Writing this compels me to do so.. Do I really wanna let her go? I dunno???

My bathroom/drying room smells of body odor and cat piss. Ugh..the smell of these things.

Thanks mate, yes that bigger root ball harvested 12.3 oz of c99. But to be fare that plant was in the 7gal bag longer than the other. Over a month more growth on that one.

It was nice to find my up potting just before flower is affording plenty of room for roots through the flower stage.

Cap Junky Chem91

Spiral type colas roughly 10-12" high. She's 6 weeks in and according to the breeder this plant is leaning towards the Cap Junky. I think she will fill in and be something special. Frosting up like mad.

I'm glad I took a clonee of this. She's already rooted and doing her thing.

The reward for using a screen as a rolling tray.
IMG_20241001_132842340.jpg
I decarb it. Put it in foil and fold it up. Place in the oven 225° for 25min. Turns it a golden brown.

The wife likes to throw it on a brownie and eat it. And after doing so she's pretty worthless for most of the day.
It can be used like any other decarb...oils, butter, ect.

Here's what it looks like all decarbed. This made about 4gramsIMG_20241002_092200927.jpg

I been trying to bleed some N outta thia cjc91 but she's a stubborn green one for sure. This is a sample that just fell off last night. Funny how that happens near harvest..

Nice buzz so far but I'm not seeing many ambers yet. Just all cloudy. I'm checking her daily. Can't wait to see how much I get from these. The buds aren't super huge but they are dense, heavy, and solid.

2 weeks on that still? Are you straight water yet? Do you run any molasses for microbes at the end?

Yeah, she's on a water diet. They are 9+ weeks in. The guy I got the seed from said they run 65-75 days so I'm close. Just gotta see more amber n I'm chopping.

Cap Junky Chem91.....Harvest

14days 13/11 + 68days 12/12

#2 plant was taken down last night. I still have some to do on her I'll finish tonight but this is most of her hanging.
IMG_20241007_195041686.jpgIMG_20241007_195017945.jpg

The screen wasnt to awful difficult to remove. I just had to go slow and feed the buds through. I can see this being an issue with larger buds.
IMG_20241007_181337237~2.jpgIMG_20241007_181259353.jpg

Some bud shots. She's not a big bud girl. Most are medium sized. No frost fest with these but very sticky and greasy. She's a fruity diesel funk that is quite pleasant.

A Note for this grow.....

Not keeping this version of the cjc91. It's a solid plant but not the size buds I seek. Narrow pear shaped medium size bud. Very solid but not much meat to her.
It had some nice color bleed in and was a very healthy easy to grow plant. Her sister plants blows her outta the race. She's got what I'm looking for. I harvest her in a few days.

Strawberry Banana....Harvest

69days 12/12 + 14days 13/11

Totally unremarkable plant. I fell out of love with this girl when it hit mid flower. I call this whole plant a larf sickle. Super dense leaf growth. I'm glad she's finally out of the way.
IMG_20241008_183617642.jpg
Had a floater on top but had to take it off and remove a lot of growth just so it could breathe. Not a big plant at all.IMG_20241008_183601223.jpg

One weird thing I noticed is if you touch the buds they aren't real sticky like most plants. Rubbing your fingers together you get a gritty feeling..weird.

Sad to hear about this. The name sounds great. That grit is very interesting, wonder what it is?
