Thank you! Looks like a few nanners but was a tough grow cuz of the lingering heat and it is a S1 after all of a cut that’s kind of know to do that so doesn’t feel toooo bad , took cuttings about to run her right back with the room full, adding a couple pound town cuz that was so fire. All CSI this run

Lol your thinking of Humboldt seed organisation that were linked with dinafem not the UK idk why you thought that there Spanish folk and got busted dinafem is gone however hso is still operating they moved countries I think though anyway CSI Humboldt is actually from over there and is legit

I plant them directly into soil-less, rockwool, oasis cubes, whatever, but never coco, I've had bad dampening off with coco.

I add a bit of Hydrogen peroxide to the water and then wait.
About once a year I'll find a pack that doesn't germ well and I usually demand a refund, because my method gets me 100% or close to it with good seeds.

Demands a refund lol you sound fun. Most breeders will guarantee there seeds and send replacements but refunds nope and they shouldn't. Your paying for a "chance" with any seed from any species of plant. Nobodies methods are 100% and if you buy a pack that is 3 years old then wait 3 or 4 more years to pop them and have low germ rates that is not breeders fault, it is yours for not germinating them sooner. Paper towel method is the best method and wait until the tap root is 1 to 2 inches long.

I prefer to plant directly into the medium as well, the paper towel can be rough and stick to the root. And fyi the old post you quoted is from a skilled and experienced grower, welcome to RIU

And you assumed he has more experience than me, why? Just because I haven't been on RIU commenting as long?
If you buy the right brand paper towel and know how to use them they will not grow through it, if it does you can easily get them out.
FYi 38+ years. Indoor growing since 99. Whatever works for you, no need to change if it is working for you.

I've been growing since 1939. Back then we would germinate straight into asbestos, none of this paper towel BS. Things were much better back then. Like the time I caught the ferry to Shelbyville? I needed a new heel for m'shoe. So I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. "Gimme five bees for a quarter," you'd say. Now where were we? Oh, yeah. The important thing was that I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have any white onions, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones..
