lucky you, we hardly had any this year, hornets and wasps yes, some as you say, still buisy in the roof. but sad the lack of insects and i live in wales, farming comunity
Hornets are still a plenty too from all I seen however it's warmer this year is why they still active I figure here im coastal its a farming region too but a bit more urbanised some bits and some a bit less so I stay near the edge of town so pretty close to farms woods etc
"However, Chancellor Jeremy Hunt announced that from 1 July 2023 this penalty will end. Prepayment meter households on their supplier's standard variable tariff will no longer pay more than those with credit meters and paying via monthly direct debit.5 Jun 2023"
Agreed it's wrong but there still doing it they ain't sticking to there word

Yeah fair doos for not killing it I hate wasps I don't mind bees but wasps are dicks I get there good for killing pests and such but there aggressive little buggers Ime as for low numbers I keep hearing that yet where I'm at there still flying about they normally would have died off by now but global warming has fucked the seasons up and that's giving them a harder time on the plus side I seen more honey bees this year Vs last
Aye they can be a pain in the hoop! Usually ok summer time as they are concentrating on their nest.

You’re closer to sea level right? Had a few cold nights so far so think it killed them off

I have the omega 600w it's a really good light in a space of around 8 x 4 I have this and a mars hydro tsl2000 running and I've been gettin great results with it ... its a little tricky to assemble as it's not a solid fixture the light fixtures are sort of rails that clip into either sides metal brace to build the light but it's a great fixture
I've used omega hps since they first came on the market, I had loads of mates telling me they were shite when I first got them cos they were Chinese, I've still got a magnetic ballast going strong 10+ years later haha. I'm gonna get 4 1k fixtures for my 3x3, the 600 seems the best bang for the buck though and I would get 6 of those if the footprint was more practical for my needs. Are there many red diodes in the fixture? I love my hlg Diablos but they're just so expensive for what they are it makes scaling up extremely pricey.

Hey folk's, I wanted a time frame to work from next year so I started some tomato seeds soon after I got them.

They're flowering yeah!
Idk if they'll get to fruit or if the shortening daylight hrs and colder temps will stop them.

They've been going downhill for a month I'm surprised they're even growing tbh.

A sign of the mild weather nasturtiums are still growing.

The 1st proper frost finishes them, I like nasturtiums you get lots of colour throughout summer with low maintenance.

Have a nice weekend!

Too be honest I've not really looked at the light since I've put it up to check the diodes .... I'll take a photo when I go down over the next few days .. speaking about bees and wasps I had one in my room earlier I just left it alone it got in there somehow so I'm assuming it could get back out ... would they do much to the plants damage wise ?

I don't think so it's more likely to eat pests or sting you than eat your plant I would say bud its probably the heat and light its after more than anything else

Wasps are primarily carnivorous I doubt they'd eat vegetation, it's insects that need to worry about them more.

When I was boy fishing with wasp grubs was a good bait for trout during the autumn spates.
Needless to say they object to anyone annoying them and stealing grubs the fkrs give a sore sting, that said wasps will give you a painful sting just for existing.

I've drove to Scotland from wales and it's huge up there .... there is miles of nothing between nothing up the top
Aye the north especially far north is empty but central and west coast however definitely is less empty I just mean in relative terms we are small look at America or Australia for example you can drive for days and days not the case in the UK or Scotland so much

Anyone got any info info on uk seed suppliers/ I usualy just buy fem/photo seeds direct from dutch passion, as they seem pretty consistent to me...

But I'm on the hunt for 3 or 5 fem/photo seeds and dutch passion don't seem to have anything I really like the look of at the moment.

I'm growing in a tent with limited height, so a hybrid indica dom is mostly preferable...

This looks like an interesting one? anyone fammiliar?

I'm not very fussed about harvest weight as I just do it for my own pleasure.
