USDA orders testing of milk for bird flu

I'm gonna miss the USDA..... :sad:

The national milk supply must be tested for bird flu under a federal order announced Friday by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Entities handling raw milk, such as bulk milk transporters or dairy processors, must collect and share samples with the USDA upon request.

Yes you are! I’m reading daily recalls of food stuff here. Just recalled my favourite salad mix :o!

The testing is just in large milk collection tanks for now. When they find bird flu, they will test the individual farms that had milk in that location. It's a start.
