I have 10 plants under a high 600watt led and having some issues here some pics can anyone tell me what's going on and what I'm doing wrong I'm using pro mix organics
ProMix Organic is
- Sphagnum peat moss (60-70% by volume)
- Perlite
- Coir
- Ground Limestone (for pH adjustment)
- Wetting agent
- Mycorrhizae
With ProMix you do not need to ph adjust your feed !
The limestone will buffer the ph and you did not need to add more to the mix.
I'm using general organics bio thrive and bio root and cal mag I have been pH my nutrient solution and I'm feeding 2times then 3rd time just pH water not doing a ec. Did do a run off ph test today and Iwas reading. 5
Are you following their feeding schedule for amounts ?
https://generalhydroponics.com/resources/biothrive-feedcharts/
When I use GH Maxi series I'm usually at just a little less than the recommended amount and in ProMix HP I do not ph my water !
What is your waters starting ph ? Mine is 7.5 before adding nutrients, can't remember what it is after. I never check ph in or run off.
I feed with every watering right to the end.
When I have pushed the feed too far I flush with 3 gallons of water for a 3 or 4 gallon bag. Put the bag on two sticks over a 5 gallon pail.
Slowly run through 2 gallons of just water, let it drain for bit and then run through one gallon with nutrients.
It does appear you have a lock out and not a light issue. IIRC at your growth stage I was at 18" and 60% power on a Phlizon 640w bar light.
It also looks like your bags are sitting directly on the floor ?
I use saucers and plant elevators, the saucers catch the run off and the elevators let the bottom of the bag breath And not reabsorb the run off.
At least a small amount of run off will help flush excess salts.
This is my current grow, a little farther ahead but I am
using nothing but Mega Crop one part, no ph down, no Cal/Mag.
And my well water ppm's are ~500, ph is 7.5
Light is
@100%, tallest buds are 3" away from the bars. Shorter ones range from 7" - 11"
7" fan on the floor at the back pointing slightly up and counter clockwise, oscillating fan in front.
Exhaust is set to come on at 77 to keep the humidity down to 54%...
Cheers and Good Luck !
