You need to provide more information.
list of things added to nutrient feed.
How often do you feed?
Ph and ec of feed.
Have you captured any runoff for ph and ec measurements?

I'm using general organics bio thrive and bio root and cal mag I have been pH my nutrient solution and I'm feeding 2times then 3rd time just pH water not doing a ec. Did do a run off ph test today and Iwas reading. 5

Yo, with a 600W LED, make sure it’s at least 20–24 inches away or you might fry your plants.Pro Mix Organics is great, but after a few weeks, you gotta add nutrients.Check your water pH; Pro Mix likes it around 6.0–6.5 for best results.I had the same issue—light was too close, and pH was screwing up nutrient uptake.Get a cheap pH meter; it’s a game changer. Also, throw in some Cal-Mag, LEDs suck it out of the plants like crazy:weed:.

I have mine 30 in away and I just bought a ph meter waiting for delivery now but NY water run off is at 5 and I dont understand how it got like that cause I always ph my water and nutrient I put some agricultural lime on the pro mix sk hopefully it will rase my ph

Looks like deficiency's across the NPK board. N bc the very light green/yellow everywhere - though LED grow lights do accentuate that apperance so its usually not as bad as it looks. Potassium deficiency because of edge burn/browning. And Phosphorus bc the blotchy random browning through some of the leaves. If your pH is really 5, that would reduce the absorption of those nutrients, making pH nute lockout the culprit.

For a flush, IDK. I've heard 3x the water you normally would give, and I've heard 3x the volume of your pots. 9 gallons of water if you have 3gal pots. Always seemed like an awful lot to me. The one time I flushed I just did 3x what i normally watered. 3gal of water, and it did the trick. Be your own judge bongsmilie

Personally i just take my pots to the bathroom, lower my curtain rod to rest on the tub surround walls, tie strings around the handles on the pot(i use fabric pots) and flush away.

OP, pro mix Organics is primarily composed of peat moss, which is known to lean acidic. I'd say being a peat moss, and you're feeding twice watering once is what did the trick, especially if you're feeding a recommended dosages. But most people recommend using half or less than half the recommended dose to figure out what the plant wants, and in my experience that works out best.

I'll give it a try thanks for the advice

If you're dealing with NPK deficiencies, it's definitely worth checking your pH first. A pH as low as 5 can block nutrient absorption, and that’s probably the main issue here. As for flushing, I agree that using 3 times the pot size volume seems a bit much, but it seems effective:).
When it comes to feeding, starting with half of the recommended dosage is a great idea. Plants tend to react better to lower doses, and it reduces the risk of nutrient burn. Always check your water and soil pH, as that’s key to healthy growth;).

ProMix Organic is
  • Sphagnum peat moss (60-70% by volume)
  • Perlite
  • Coir
  • Ground Limestone (for pH adjustment)
  • Wetting agent
  • Mycorrhizae
With ProMix you do not need to ph adjust your feed !

The limestone will buffer the ph and you did not need to add more to the mix.

Are you following their feeding schedule for amounts ? https://generalhydroponics.com/resources/biothrive-feedcharts/

When I use GH Maxi series I'm usually at just a little less than the recommended amount and in ProMix HP I do not ph my water !

What is your waters starting ph ? Mine is 7.5 before adding nutrients, can't remember what it is after. I never check ph in or run off.

I feed with every watering right to the end.

When I have pushed the feed too far I flush with 3 gallons of water for a 3 or 4 gallon bag. Put the bag on two sticks over a 5 gallon pail.

Slowly run through 2 gallons of just water, let it drain for bit and then run through one gallon with nutrients.

It does appear you have a lock out and not a light issue. IIRC at your growth stage I was at 18" and 60% power on a Phlizon 640w bar light.

It also looks like your bags are sitting directly on the floor ?

I use saucers and plant elevators, the saucers catch the run off and the elevators let the bottom of the bag breath And not reabsorb the run off.

At least a small amount of run off will help flush excess salts.

This is my current grow, a little farther ahead but I am using nothing but Mega Crop one part, no ph down, no Cal/Mag.

And my well water ppm's are ~500, ph is 7.5

Light is @100%, tallest buds are 3" away from the bars. Shorter ones range from 7" - 11" :o

7" fan on the floor at the back pointing slightly up and counter clockwise, oscillating fan in front.

Exhaust is set to come on at 77 to keep the humidity down to 54%...

Cheers and Good Luck !

I got two cents...lol

Promix has a ph buffer. I trust it to maintain my plants. I've not picked up a ph or measured anything in a long while. Tap to garden.

I think ya may be over watering. Are ya letting these dry out? I see they sit in the tray. A little booster would increase air to the roots and avoid it soaking up run off.

I run straight promix HP. Not much different but ya have to let it dry out. Use the pot weight to judge.

By saying over watering it's not you soaking the medium its you soaking the medium repeatedly. The medium can't breath when that happens.

Already mentioned, ground limestone is the "buffer". .

Also mentioned ;)

That is the most common recommendation, wet/dry cycle.

But, I've switched to 5 gallon pails with GroBuckets, the reservoir can be full and the medium is "moist" almost to the top, plants don't care.

They just keep on keeping on !

Great system for those that do tend to over water :weed:

Cheers

Hope I didn't come off as sounding harsh, not my intention.

It's cool man. Not offended. I get it. I was just offering my view maybe worded in a different way. Most of us learn repeating things. Sometimes if things are presented differently they are better understood.

That's the great thing about these forums. Ya get multiple options that are often similar as they attempt to guide someone lost. Ya can always find the answers in places like this. Love these forums.
