That's funny. I drove past my unlucky friends place this afternoon and there was a deer in his yard under the apple tree. I laughed my ass off.

Last week my brother's group harvested 5 bucks and a doe - white tail shotgun season. Here's buddy and his daughter.


Edit: brother brought by some jalepeno cheddar venison pepperettes. Great mouth feel and mild heat.

From the look of that skeleton I'm hoping it suffocated and died fairly fast by not being able to breathe. Looks like it broke off one antler thrashing around tho that could have been broken before in a fight or something.

Not a pleasant way to go no matter what happened. A hunter's bullet would have been much faster and fed some people tho the local carnivores probably enjoyed a feast for a while.
