Seedling with only two leaves

Is this a mutant or will fan leaves eventually grow?

I think I can see one leaf but if not I like just had this happen recently I think. Few days later it showed. It looks like it will make it its healthy.

As long as it's not being beaten down with light intensity it should unfold some leaf real soon.

It's normal. Those are cotyledons, the seed leaves. The first true leaves, the serrated ones, will sprout from between the cotyledons.

hang in there, all is not lost yet, give it a few days and then reevaluate the situation
